How To Keep iPhone At 100 Battery Health
Ғылым және технология
How to keep iPhone at 100% battery health - hello all and welcome to this video discussion on the actions I took to keep my iPhone 14 Pro Max at 100% battery health since the launch of this product. The iPhone 14 Pro Max does have a large battery as do many other iPhones but frequently people run into the situation where they are running out of battery capacity too early within the life cycle of their device. And in this video I'm going to share with you everything I know and what I've done to ensure the battery on my iPhone 14 pro Max stays in top condition. If you have an iPhone or plan on buying one and have had battery life experience please share that with the community down below. As always, thank you for watching, and be sure to be well and peace.

Same goes for me, recently used up my Iphone 11 with data-on with hotspot on and it reduces my battery health from 100% down to 99%, I never used that way anymore and I retained the 99% till now. That was my biggest mistake Ive done early around this year. But one thing I've read about the comment is I also used to turn on low power mode. I also charge my phone from 30% to 100% in normal/cool room temperature. Not chraging during hot noon daytime. Using 20W original Iphone charger.

This is a really helpful video for iPhone users. For those who are in North America and expecting to upgrade or change the device every 2-3 years, I would say it is safe to use the phone anyway you like because by the time the battery health is going down, you will be replacing the phone. I usually don't take extra precautions because of my upgrades comes in a short 2-3 year lifespan.
Have had my iPhone 14 for 8 months and it’s at 94%. Everything you’ve mentioned here I do and just think it differs with each phone. I do use my phone a lot and will have music playing and using chrome throughout the day and opening other apps in between so maybe that’s why

What shocked me the most is just after 6 months my battery health is at 99% previous iPhones I’ve had stuck around 100% so far the battery has lasted for quite some time still maintaining its charge I’m guessing it’s gonna dip down to 98% battery health fairly soon as I’ve already used above 170 cycles showing on coconut battery but I’ve always made sure that I never go below 50% and it’s straight on the charger at a specific time but I do believe things like MagSafe wireless chargers generate more heat that damages the battery health I try and avoid those
Great, informative video!
The main thing is to not drain your battery below 20-25%. The battery on my 11 was fine for a couple of years, but I drained it to 1% a couple of times and the battery decided that was it. Finally got it replaced at 72% health.

i just replaced my iphone 11 battery (and screen) this past weekend. it was on service for over a year, if not 2 lol. watching this to help maintain battery bc i don’t plan to upgrade to a newest iphone anytime soon. probably another 2-3 years.
I bought my Iphone 14 Plus 9 months ago and my battery health is now at 96% and it's been decreasing a lot lately.
So do you think using MagSafe heats up the phone too much that it degrades the battery? Or is that okay? I usually just put my iphone on a magsafe charger and leave it there overnight.
Helping us mess with things. 👍
thanks for the tip, it works on any phone seemingly

Tips to let your battery stay healthy for longer: - do not fully charge to 100% and do not drain to 0%. Lithium-Ion batteries in phones nowadays have no memory effect. - try to leave the phone alone when charging. It generates less heat. - use high quality charging equipment. Cheaper ones tend to harm your battery.

I’m not a heavy user, so I typically use 30 to 40% battery daily. I have outlet timer that turns on my MagSafe charger about 45 minutes before I wake up. By 7 am my battery is in the 80s and in the evening it’s in the 50s when I’m done using it for the night. I think the battery is gonna last quite a while.

It is indeed going to last for the next few years to come. Simply stick to this habit and try not to be below the 20% and also not above the 80-85% mark. Even better, you can use wired charging (with the 5W Apple adapter or maybe the iPad 12W one) instead of MagSafe, as the heat generated will be less and that's even less harmful to your battery!

Make sure you charge to 100% as that completes a full charge cycle, charging only to 80 means the full battery isn’t being used so when you constantly charge only to a certain capacity, you begin to damage that 80%, leaving 20% unattended to. Tried my best not to complicate it there.

I am curious what the % is on this phone now? I saw a slew of 14 phones take a serious battery health plunge over the Summer. My 13 Pro Max battery is still...ok. 90% as of Oct 2, been at that number since Feb. 2023 actually. Odd...since I was losing 1-2% every 12-14 days before this. Not quite sure why it stopped at 90%? The drain I have on iOS 17 though feels like this battery is far less than 90% though. YET...its far better than my old 12 Pro Max...a battery that went from 100% in Nov 2020 to 83% in Sept 2021, that phone, especially battery sadly was a dud. I have no interest in the 15 ProMax...especially now and the erratic overheating issues. 110-117º and dropping down normal 75-80....back up, etc. with these extreme temps have to do a number on these iPhone 15 batteries.
If anyone is wondering the drop in battery health in a short amount of time, yes its ios 16.5 that caused it. iPhone 13 Mini 100% health for 8 months, Magsafe charging every day through the night. ios 16.5 drained it to 95% in less than a month.
