Messed up. 13PM has more saturation than 14PM

If I had to buy one of them for the cameras, based on this video, I'd go with the 13 pro max.

Speaking of the iPhone 12 Pro a third party app like Halide MK II makes a real difference since Apple could easily give the 12 Pro camera app a software update bringing it closer to the 13 Pro but they don't.

Thanks for the suggestion. It’s a shame, because in well lit scenarios the only thing holding the iPhone 12 Pro Max back from the 14 is post processing in the software. In poor lighting the iPhone 14 Pro Max is better due to improved aperture, sensor size, lens size, etc. The 12 pro max can be bought for $500 now, so it doesn’t make sense to buy the 14 at three times the price point, if a simple app can make the 12 almost as good as the 14.

next time when you do comparisons just mention which one is close to natural colour

But @Irina, which camera would you say is the most color accurate with reality? The 13PM seems to be on the cooler side but we can't see what you saw.

This. This is what most tech reviewers always forget.

I would refer to an iphone 13 pro max I can't explain but after see this comparison , I really like how the 13 took the picture. Unfortunately I'm also like the dynamic Island on the 14 but totally I will always likely refer to 13 pro max cuz I like taking pictures and I excited how the 13 took:'3

To feel a real jump, an Apple user should wait, at least, 3 releases to replace the phone. If you have an iPhone 12, better wait for the 15 to notice a consistent improvement in camera.

Depends.12 pro has more flexibility with the camera and has more lens so you would probably get a better shot with that,But the 13 has better image processing and battery might be better so it could look better.Depends what you want to do,but if camera really matters then the 12 pro would probably be the best.

1:20 it looks like you mistaken photo on the middle is from 14 pro max, on the very right is from 13 pro max, because 13PM actually has more saturation.

the 14 Pro Max seems like an upgrade of the 12 Pro Max

I regret getting the 14 pro max. Upgrade from my 11 pro max and it is awful. It will blur the background in every picture. It can’t focus on two things at once. It’s so bad. I don’t understand how people like it

12 and 14 have the same color tone

I've been subscribed to the channel for a good while now and I think these videos need to improve. Or your knowledge. You often mistake over sharpening for detail, it's not it's over sharpening, you also miss out new features like the lossless 2x zoom and portrait mode on the 14 pro. I'm not saying it's game changing because it's not. I actually prefer the output from the 13 pro due to the horrible over sharpening on the 14 pro. The only times you see discernable derail increase is in pro raw. Something you need to start touching on in your reviews.

My eyes hurts from that oversharpening and hdr

Pls mention 4k video samples are 4k 30 or 4k 60 fps

@khouloudkasmi5946 What a shame, did you try the free camera apps? There is 2 common I can't remember their name. Also hoping for less sharpness for the 16th looks like they lowered the sharpness a bit on 15. You can shoot raw but if you don't want that it would be great. They have done this just because of all social media apps...

I'm using burst when taking selfies that's the only way out for now! the problem is that we're paying money for the phone to use other apps for the camera, it sucks! I have the 13 and I don't know if I should upgrade or what to do exactly, I want to enjoy using my phone

@khouloudkasmi5946 Exactly. Wait for the 16 or try something else, heard that you could lower the sharpness on Samsung latest, and turn off hdr. Or shoot in Raw with iPhone. Nothing else to do.

At the end of the day, who cares, phones are phones. No one is going to zoom in that much lol regardless they’ll be pixelated. But great video btw! Still rocking my iPhone 12 Pro. 🤙🏽
