I like these not-too-hurried videos. a lot of the "younger ones" rush through their tutorials, talking a thousand words per minute, and i find myself replaying the video to rehear what was said. Thank you for taking your time through these. 😊

I know exactly what you mean! I have to reply some of them several times , but never with Rich - he takes the time to explain clearly and concisely without being patronising. Greatly appreciated!

You can slow videos down in the upper right hand corner of the video. I normally speed them up because they talk slow to make their videos longer
Thanks! I Your plainly explained tips are helping me to learn how to make better use of my iPad rather than just using it as a glorified iPhone and media viewer.
Great tips, Rich! You are right, many of these get overlooked. Thanks for bringing them to our attention. I will have to watch this again to absorb all the details. You always give useful, time-saving tips to keep us informed and up to date on how to use our iPhones and iPads to the fullest capacity. Thanks again! ❤

Thanks again Rich for another great video! I love the last tip with the Photo's widget. I will use this one all the time especially when I am teaching, I have my iPad attached to a white board and this will save me from opening and scrolling thru all my albums in front of my class.
You are totally awesome! I really enjoyed this video and hope you have many more tips like these! 😊

For some reason Apple removed our local airport app from the App Store. Thank you, Rich, for the tip of how to use it as a bookmark on my Home Screen! Works great.

Fantastisk 👍
Good tips. Is it possible to add a weblink to Quick Notes while Stage Manager is activated? Right swipe up and I’m in Stage Manager.
Phooey, I got excited about Stage Manager but have an iPad Min 6 with 17.5 OS BUT the Mini doesn't have Stage Manager. Would be good for you to note that you areTalking about full size iPads. I have subscribed though as I like how you present things and I'm sure many things will apply to the Mini
I'm on Ipad 17.5.1 and Stage Manager does not show up in the Control Center and when I search for it in Settings, it is not found.
Now I learned two new things today. Love the Photo Widget idea, too. I have been underusing my Apple Devices. Question. I tried the 4-finger swipe on my iPhone 15 Pro but it did not work. Does it require me to set it up in Settings?

@@dfphillips1433 yes. I wanted to try this swipe on both my phone and iPad. I did the same for creating a bookmark on the Home Screen. That worked great. Nice to learn some new tips.

I believe the 4-finger swipe is for the iPad.
Can you turn an app from portrait to vue in landscape. I have some games that I wish I could play in landscape as I hate to do portrait on my IPad?
I found if you test a finger on an open video in KZread it will play 2 times fast.
I cannot find find stage manager in control centre options in System Preferences?
#4 - When you shrink the keyboard (floating keyboard), it also becomes a "swipe keyboard" which enables "slide to type".

I didn't know that. Thanks so much for the tip!
On the quick note tip, I never can bring up the notes by swiping up from the bottom, right hand corner. It doesn’t work for me. Please advise.
Is stage manger available in the IPAD 9th gen
I do not see Stage Manager on my list. Nor do I see it in the App store. Is it only for certain iPads? Mine is a 9th gen.
How did you get ipad to show a keyboard with letters and numbers at the same time? Mine only has 3 main rows; have to shift to show numbers. Thanks

He’s using a 13-inch iPad. You do have to shift to get numbers on an 11 inch (or 10.9 inch iPad).

@@robinmpowell Not what I was hoping to hear--but THANKS
Where did you get stage manager? I tried download it from App Store but it doesn’t load into the device manager. I deleted it.
Thanks, note Stage Manager does not work on all ipads. Note available on my ipad 10.

Agreed, it would be helpful to note that these tips do not apply to all iPads
Quick note feature isn’t opening on my iPad Air
Got iPhone 15pro can’t find stage manager
Some of this doesn't apply to my iPad mini running 17.5.1. There is no +Link in Quick notes and Stage manager requires an M1 iPad.
Stage manager is not the available on iPad 9th generation.
@robinmpowell
7 күн бұрын
It’s not available on the 10th generation iPad either.
This helps no one who doesnt use the safari browser. I prefer more security than dealing direcrly w the company Apple.
Swiping up from corners on my iPad does nothing.
