yess...as massive as they were in the late 80s I still feel they don't get the respect they deserve besides us fans .they were a total package band. the songs, the looks, the live performance

I miss you so much Michael, so many of us do. It’s bloody shameful that INXS is yet to be put in the R&R hall of fame, despite the petitions - and the band’s immense influence and contribution to 3 decades of music. Love you, Hutch always and forever. ♥️💎

Michael was unique.

Michael Hutchence, so good looking, had a style of his own. There will never be anyone like him. Irreplaceable and will always be remembered for his music and his uniqueness. Rest in peace michael.

Very true ! I met them once in 1984. My friends and I were at their concert in Nice...a couple of my besties were acting like serious groupies, so they let us backstage. “Original Sin” was huge on French radio at the time. They were so good to us. Michael was next-level gorgeous and charismatic. My personal favorite was Andrew. Absolutely adorable...really kind, smart and humble. I was the mother of two toddlers when Michael died, and I cried like a baby when I heard (very unlike me).They were all so wonderful - I really hope money and fame did not change them on a fundamental level.

I have always loved any interviews with the band members. Was immediately blown away by Michael's shyness. Very humble. Wonderful sense of humour. God I miss Michael! Andrew's and Tim's story about "Kiss the Dirt" is absolutely hilarious!

Every single one of them - an artist. Channeling the divine within them. ❤

Next to the still greatly missed, Michael Hutchence, Jon Farriss was pretty damn fine as fuck,too.

I had this on VHS... Loved it to death... A gift for my seventh birthday I remember squealing when I unwrapped it, went to school with a massive smile on my face that day! haha I am so old! 😁💖

A banda era talentosa, perfeita. Michael, perfeito, lindo, voz maravilhosa.

His beautiful curls were otherworldly, I also loved the black on him.

lord.... Micheal is so beautiful here, hes just so magnetic and gorgeous....never liked the dark straight hair he wore at the end of his life, but here the straight blondish hair looks wonderful on him....such a loss to the world and his family, so sad.

It was Paula who insisted on changing the color of her hair and she dyed it herself. The dark and straight color of her added more age and she accentuated her sadness in the image of her was someone that she did not hide how she felt

It must be just me then. I liked that dark wavy hair. I actually thought he looked really good during the final rehearsal with his hair a bit shorter.

Regarding Michael's hair, he didn't sport this look for long. He changed his look because he desperately wanted to play Tick in Priscilla Queen of the Desert but did not get the part with it eventually going to Hugo Weaving. Michael has said in a couple of interviews I've watched, that Hugo was great, but confided he really wanted that part himself. I read the writers were inspired by Bowie and approached him to be involved but he was too busy. If you remember in the early 90s Bowie had that straight hair look. I highly suspect that was the look Michael was going for to get considered.

'The One Thing' was definitely NOT shot in Adelaide. It was made in Sydney on very low budget using the assist. Director from The Young Doctors - a 'soapy' our mother was working on. Our mother did the makeup for everyone in the shoot and also supplied two of the girls around the table who were actresses on her soapie also. Michael's longtime girlfriend Michele also made up the cast of beautiful girls around the table. The idea or that video was conceived by my husband - a sound editor in Los Angeles.

I’m from 🇬🇧 uk, a flatmate worked with inxs during a live show in the 90s, said the guys were great. He still has jons drumsticks and Tim’s signed plectrum

It was probably Don’t Change, Spy of Love and To Look At You (not The One Thing) that were all filmed in three days as Michael had a completely different hairstyle in the The One Thing video and must have got a haircut after it

I received this VHS tape for Christmas 1990. X had been released about a month prior. I was surprised to see Michael with straightened hair.

I don’t have that one but it is on KZread on UKINXSFAN’s channel. They have it in four parts and called it INXS Kick Flick. Unless that is something else? Anyway if I had it, I’d upload it but without an extra logo...

greatest video hits was released in 1990 so it couldn't be later than that, yeah. but i've never seen other photos or videos of him with his hair like this. until 96/97 of course..

@@7389 He had lost that shine that still stood out like small sparks perhaps at the time when he let himself be carried away with the music and the stage but his health, the problems, the press were a lot of burden for him and it was reflected in his physique
