What potential lost. RIP Michael. Just bought their last CD, actually. LOVED it! Guys have gone on but trying to recreate INXS, never. IMO. He was a one-of-a-kind soul!

This I really like and it shows their evolution, how MH vocals change and evolve. He really had range and so much more potential.

I honestly don't think he intentionally killed himself. He wouldn't want that for his Daughter.

It's hard to predict one's moods/thinking esp. if they were (clinically) depressed. Nobody seemed to understand Michael Hutchence, except very few.

I love INXS and their music is timeless. While Michael was a great front man, the genius of the band was Andrew and the heart of the band were Garry and Jon on bass and drums. These three were the foundation that made Tim and Kirk's licks so sweet and Michael's vocal accessible. I saw them live 6 times from '87 to 2013. Every show was great with and without Michael. And don't think that Never Tear Us Apart was about a girl. It was about the band. Unfortunately, November 1997 happened.

I agree. Each and every one of them was/is an integral part of the band.

7:10 the hypocrisy. When Michael desperately needed time to sort himself out, be with his child the band demanded he finish their tour. Look at the outcome.

It’s hard to say when the Molly Meldrum interview with Michael, Kirk, & Tim occurred. Michael had long hair in this interview, and he had cut it shorter when he arrived in Australia for rehearsals at ABC studios in November, 1997. Elegantly Wasted was released in March, 1997.
