For me, the irreplaceable vocals of Michael Hutchence completed the amazing and beloved sound of INXS. They produced SO many songs that were ubiquitous in, and defined the era. INXS definitely deserves a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It's actually disgraceful that they aren't there. 30+ years later their music still takes me right back to great memories of living life in that time. I KNOW there must be millions out there from around the world who feel the same way. Induct INXS to the HOF!!!

I’m 62 I loved British or simple traditional rock music. 70-80s inc Aussie) Michael was born to be a lead singer. All these songs were big in my 20s. I grew up w INXS a fave party band. But I think this guy had 2 downfalls . The scooter accident ( not his fault but was to get some help I realize he found out his senses were effected so he must’ve either just knew this…or seen someone…but I know why rockstars reek such disdain re help for any injuries is the hilarious press. The PAULA on his arse threatened to commit suicide herself and take the baby mum of the yr she was! Treating the baby like a accessory… Unless MH married her ! That enough? Plus your experiencing health issues mood swings and drugs along drink too… I think it’s possible he’d been murdered.

I was across the street from the hotel the morning of Michael’s passing and even more eerie, I drove past the restaurant where Michael was having dinner with his Dad that very night. I only found this out when I heard it on the radio and again on the television. I, like everybody else, couldn’t believe it. It was certainly a case of our 2 worlds colliding…Michael you are still so missed but I know that you are looking down at all of us fans 💔😿 I had met Michael and INXS numerous times during the recording of their album’Kick’ and backstage at a concert where Michael invited my friend and I to the after party at the Sebel Townhouse. This is the night that he met Kylie Minogue and the rest is HIStory! ❤️

I was 7 years old when I seen the video "Need you tonight" it wasn't until I was older that I had begun to fully appreciate you, besides Chris, Morrison, and Jagger , you were one of the most gifted, sensual, sexy, gifted, and talented Musicians that I had ever seen. Your music will live forever, we miss you daily, we love you forever. When you think of everything he was up against in those last days it’s not hard to believe he could have grown so frustrated and overwhelmed that he grew torn between ending his misery and pushing onward. I do still wonder if maybe he might have been wanting to distract and relieve himself of stress and went too far. It’s such a horrible tragedy. He just didn’t seem the type to give up or quit.

Wow. What song do you start with when you're presenting a new singer to an audience of people who adored the original singer of those songs? Do you go with your first hit to soften the blow, or do you come out guns ablazin with your biggest number one and set the pace from the get-go? Tough decision. Personally, I think they should have made a record of original songs, with their new singer, then went on tour to promote it. That way the audience could accept him on his own artistic and vocal merit, and not compare him to Hutchence.

I don’t think he did. I think that Paula had a hand in whatever happened. I think she trapped him and manipulated him badly. He had so much talent but I heard he had a brain injury I don’t know if that’s true. He was hot so he could have had any girl he wanted. Paula was not a pretty female, she was nasty. Loose. I think she tricked him and held his daughter over head whom he loved dearly. Why doesn’t the band ever mention Paula? Seems telling. How did he hurt his brain or did he?

Paula manipulated Michael dirty, it's true. She repeatedly threatened suicide if he did not marry her, threatened that he would not see his daughter. I think she even gave birth to a child in order to have another lever of pressure on Michael. She reminds me of a snake that wrapped rings around the victim's neck and strangled her as a result. Michael had a TBI in 1992: in Copenhagen, he was hit by a taxi driver, Michael fell headfirst onto a stone curb and severely damaged his brain

While it is sad that the World will never know the true story of MH's death, what is far more dismal is that "the band" won't let his death be the demise of them as well. They seem to be way too narcissistic for the $ ,fame, & attention. It's like , are the Stones the stones without Brian, & Charlie ? NO ! {The Who without Keith Moon; } they are not. I personally , find their music empty and non-meaningful. Maybe it's the decade that they were in, but their songs said nothing to me anyway. You listen to their greatest hits & I'm sad that I even bought it.

Michael was a STAR, he didn't need the band really. Personification of a sexy rock star 😍 Can't belive none of the band members wanted to be in his daughter's life. If that's true than its a shame.
