Hi Guys Thanks for coming and recording the nuptials and farm progress. So a bit a feedback on some questions/comments that were posted. The lease project has some issues that are making progress difficult. The weed that is proliferating is a project for the future as to why it grows in some places and not others. Poisoning it is not a good idea as the poison then contaminates the drinking water, which is probably why health systems around the world are collapsing due to the massive increase in the general population’s poor health. My theory as to why weeds (plants we can’t eat) grow is that it is nature’s way or repairing the soil. The pond has catfish in it as opposed to tilapia, because it is a hardier fish.

High salt water will kill those weeds

@@krisbrand354 You are correct, however it would also kill everything else as well. I think it is better to find out why weeds grow, instead of just killing everything that nature creates that we cant monetize.

@@chrisperkins7331you’re a smart man! I agree with everything you’ve said! Using pesticides on everything hurts the earth and polluted ground water. The huge corporations are ruining our earth and environment. But they control all governments so nothing will change, sadly.
I don't know how you find these incredible new people (the engineer). What stories they have to tell. You are blessed with an innate ability to find the most wonderful stories.
Chris is into everything with a wealth of knowledge and experience
Cracker... Chris gets my vote on the dance floor... he's a man overflowing with ideas and knowledge... Lao or Thai weddings are the best....
It's always great to see Chris at the Homestead. He has a work history that is amazing . The countries that he worked in. My late father worked all over the world working on an oil tanker. with a similar background. Bob is a character. Love him. Todd, what is the significance of wearing a red shirt at a wedding for the men? Congratulations ! to the wedding couple. May they be blessed with Good Health. Thank you, Todd, for taking us along. All the best. 🙏🙏 Jim and Harriet. Richmond, Va.

As soon as they started walking down, clapping and singing I had a huge grin on my face...totally sucked into the moment. All smiles a wonderful, but the Lao smile gets me every time. Cheers Todd.
Thanks again Todd for taking us along with you on your travels today. Say hi and sprink-ler to Neenee for me. Nice seeing Chris again as well. Cheers mate.
Great video, Todd. Good to see Chris P. again. I really like seeing and hearing about all the changes the farm takes over the season/year. It was good to see Chris B. again in your recent videos as well, nice guesthouse he has in Luang Prabang. Nice to meet Bob as well I'm sure he's got a few stories to tell about all of his experiences throughout Asia. Wonderful celebration all around and congratulations to the beautiful couple. 🙏👍

Enjoyed the fun, lively wedding, especially the dancing. Congratulations to the lucky couple! Good to see Chris's land coming along so nicely. The pergola with the blackish pumpkins is especially pretty and unique. Thanks for sharing.
Todd - What a beautiful dress for NeeNee , she is so beautiful as always.. Take care in your travels.
In Laos most beautiful ladies are in village..
Amazing and very enjoyable
I married my Thai wife in Ko Samui by a Loangpa and many Thai Buddhist monks sat above us and chanted and such. I bought them all expensive gifts and we gave them to them after the wedding and it was in a Holy Temple by a river coming off the mountains. Two people were there one was a woman who was Thai and the other was an English or Australian chap who happened to be there before we arrived and said they were thinking about it but wanted to see our marriage which was very nice. So we had nice bystanders to wish our wedding well, how cool. I am now 66 years old but look young and my beautiful Thai wife is 54 and looks great but she is working day and night at a Japanese wholesale in Nakhon Sawan where I hardly see her until very late at night, sad me, trying to buildup money for after I die, which I hope is not for a long time, I have been here for 22 years and love it, Peace, and Love

Planting fruit trees and flowers on the fence and keeping bees for honey is an easier job and less tedious.
@chrisperkins7331
Жыл бұрын
We do have some fruit trees, such as avocado and mango's, but the family wants to plant rice and cassava, so that is what we do. The market for fruit is not that big, and the animals have to be feed. If it was not for the animals I would have to buy someone elses poop to fertilize the fields. The main aim is to see if we can reduce imputes to zero as that is the goal. As for bees the local bees are small, so do not produce any honey you can eat..
We have those plants that close up when you touch them here in Louisiana USA as well. We call them Touch Me Nots.

I got scratched by one of them, tiny scratch went manky and I had a job getting it to heal up. Evil killer plants 🤣
Another good Perkins video! That dude has some innovative ideas. An interesting guy.. there were a few good looking women,,lol but for wife hunting,,I think I prefer the Hmong villages. The old English guy made me think of a retired spook,,M.I.5 I think is the agency in Britannia. Hope the weekend is good to ya,,Ttyl,,,Marlon

Absolutely. The engineering was no doubt his cover. 🤣
I bet that guy a huge sum for this wedding. Not to mention price paid to family. Now and forever.
I love your videos I see you have a problem weed there that is common here in Australia. We call it sensitive weed. It is common where there have been cattle but it is easy to control. I use 24D or MCPA. It is a little slow to react but it works and wont harm your lawn. These chemicals are broad leaf killers so be careful around other plants in your yard and don't spray on a windy day. I hope to get over there one day and have a beer with you. Take care mate from North Queensland Australia.
Yes people in Laos more happy In The states to casino.
Amazing wedding, luv the culture,. The pommy blokes interesting, haven ago , that tree that fell the wrong way , scarf was cut out on the wrong side 😂 . I think nee nee wanted to stay at the wedding but as in your video, western people gotta plan ahead , and gotta go 😂 we are set in ourselfish whinging ways, lao people opposite, very polite and respectful.
The fruits can be sold when in season.
We call that thorny weed Sleeping Grass in Hawaii

@@davidren7386 I am happy to help out in any way I can. Nice G/H for normal private room price today is US$6.5 per night easy to arrange. I think the biggest problem with the Philopenas is the weather. They have many really bad storms, that lao does not get as it is protected by a mountain range. If you look at the early vids that Todd has done with me (6 in total) you will see my email address. Just drop me a line and ask anything else you would like to know.

Well, that is a MIMOSA plant, f@ck i HATE those, wear protective gloves when you remove them from your garden! (I used welding gloves, real leather, those did the job for me ...) And there are some close relatives to them, which grew 3 meter tall and almost impossible to get rid of ... Well, what is this, compared to a lovely visit by a scorpion in your room while you sleep? :D Just for reference: kzread.infoCeixMUXtHhs
