@@griefer5846 the problem with that is creating entire show full of multiple seasons all the way up to a series finale means that they have to commit to the show all the way up until it is fully finished. it’s risky because if the full show itself ends up failing, all the millions of dollars used to create it could all be for nothing. that’s why most shows start and only show 1 season before deciding to commit to more seasons

A year later and we still have to wait for a few more episodes

Not too much because a little Battle Beast goes a long way, but it's a character that I love as much the fanbase loves him. This has to be one of, if not THE best trailer I've ever seen, it has no spoilers, it's a completely original idea, there is a lot of effort in it and I can tell the animation is gonna be better then s1, and it doesn't criticize the fans for being patientless with the show or anything else (unlike velma), and with the trailer being this good it only makes me more excited to see the second season

I’m just grateful how much animation is widely appreciated and still respected in this show. If watch any Noodle video about animators, you may even think this waiting period is probably much sooner than we should expect. Plus, my cousin’s fiancé is an animator. Tough to find work, so even if it takes “longer” I’m glad these imaginative people have a promising jobs for a few years. God bless!

@@joegaddy2030 I think it's looking "cheap" because of the "no overshoot" rule in the tweening. I guess it's because the cleanup relies on a pseudo cutout technique for the sake of consistency. Because of that continuous form and line consistency it may look comp generated movement. And if some idiot on the producer side comes in with a budget cut (and believe me that happens... a lot), animators need to be smart with cutting those corners. And I think this is NOT a cheap animation. My only "beef" with this teaser is the "color slapping", either it's a new jargon, because it's easier now (relatively), or they should respect coloring a tad bit more (even if it can be outsourced for people with no meaningful experience at all... been there, done that, it was one of my first jobs before I could even lay a line on a canvas). To be honest, that, tweening and cleanup is my favorite part in the pipeline.

You can see how in the booths next to Allen and Mark there is a younger version of Eve and her doctor friend, while in the other booth there are two versions of Angstrom Levy. Cool detail.

did anyone else realize that the script mark is shown writing is literally what happens in the beginning of the first episode mind blown of the amount of details put into this teaser trailer shows how much they love this show

this reminds me of old-school cartoon network characters just living their lives, the animation layers when invincible was explaining what he's been doing were great too.

Yeah thats the first thing I was thinking. Cartoon City block. Back then it looked crazy good and this reminded me of the golden age of cartoons

its so kind of mark to say he just works there and didnt try to get the credit for making the burger he stayed humble even after all the amazing work he did with the writing, designing, storyboarding, voice-acting, key-posing, in-betweening, cleaning iup, color slapping, and comping the whole thing for thousands of shots

If the animators stepped it up to this quality for the whole season I'm going to be very impressed. Also love the chibi-Mark narration, Spidey-esque and suits his character!

My son and I can’t wait for this to come back. Season 1 was outstanding. Steven Yeun is one of the best actors to portray a teen in any type of Media. Just the way he speaks to his mom and his friends feels very real.

@@waywardson911 SPOILER: Yeah, I’ve honestly lost a little faith in The Boys since the last season finale, what with Kimiko’s character arc amounting to nothing, Homelander being protected by plot armor, Black Noir being killed off right after we learned his backstory, Ryan pulling a Starlord, the writers actually expecting the audience to root for the members of The Boys who had no plan to deal with Homelander, etc.
