    I'm about 40 minutes in and I've noticed a habit of his. Whenever someone says "what the hell are you talking about?" he interprets it as them "admitting" to "not understanding" his point. When in reality they're saying "you're speaking complete nonsense" and given how he also completely cut out their response afterward, I think it's deliberate.

    That requires being imaginative enough to think about how to improve upon something you felt left alot to be desired, but most people are media illiterate. It's easier to tear something down than to build it up, that's why most criticism videos on KZread are whiny with nothing substantial to say. This is one of those extreme cases where a person is just hating on something because it's popular, contrarian for the sake of being contrarian.

  • @Rio_REAL

    @Rio_REAL

    @utopian4769 TBH i believe that most people are media literate. They could point out stuff to say and even give solid opinions on why something sucks. I mean if you go to school, you're taught PEE. Point evidence explanation, then you're tought PEAL Point, evidence, analysis and link. I wpuld agree and say that this could be an extreme case of hating cause ssomething is popular. But i really think that the guy just didn't like it, seeing it as worse than the stuff he watches (completely different shows). He goes into the show with a negative mindset and instantly just tries to shoot it down. I remember this guy that was a indie game dev, hating on another indie game because je felt that it was crap and his game was way more superior. The game he thought was crap was vampire survivor. Eventually he removed his own video saying it's bad and asked serveral youtubes to remove it because he realised that voicing you opinions has consequences and he accepted them.

    I genuinely don't think this guy has many brain cells in his head, let alone any. The term "Man Child" is more often used by (As Colin Perfectly Put It) actual man children who project onto other people. Every comment he used was people just saying he had a bad take, but ultimately those short comments are probably from people who could debate him, but see it's not worth the effort if he's this stubborn and stupid. He doesn't even stay on track 90 percent of his rant, and God his pretentious voice and his constant argument from authority on writing is annoying as hell, you can hear in his voice he thinks he's better than other people.

    It always reminds me of that C.S. Lewis quote, "Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."

    Bro really made fun of people that say L and W while using Wojaks and Chads, even tho' it makes sence knowing he said "I'm not critiquing, I'm reviewing", it's quite literally the same and he just doesn't realize But honestly, even if he didn't, his entire arguments can be invalidated with something he said pretty early into the video, so.. Fun fact for whoever is reading this comment: Everyone who says something along the lines of "now being one of the only normal people on earth" (quote directly from RSG2) usually are some kind of narsicitic idiot with a stick up their ass that bealives they're better than everyone else around them and therefore will not accept for anyone to disagree, question or challenge them, this kind off people usually get into dumb fights on the internet cuz' it's hard for them to accept other opinions and basically impossible to accept when they're wrong, so it's recomendable to ignore their temper tantrums unless it is actually important, as having a serious argument with them is extremelly frustrating, boring and pointless And, going back to the point, if you argue that RSG2 isn't like that and that he only said it as a joke, again, Wojaks and Chads, it doesn't get more obvious than that

    I too had my problems with the show, but I enjoyed it overall. The only thing I thought was a major problem was the continuity snag with Amber knowing Mark was a superhero “for weeks” just a day after the events at the college. It makes her crying and fussing at Mark for abandoning her feel like blatant manipulation if she knew he was a superhero. In the moment, the breakup was completely understandable, but that one line really damaged her character. However, I also realized that it was likely an error and that the intent was for her to be mad about Mark deceiving her. It’s still an engaging show. The Omniman/Invincible fight and the resolution (with Mark losing the fight badly, but still refusing to break-forcing Nolan to reevaluate his values and back down) is damn good. Mark’s body might not be Invincible in the truest sense, but his spirit was.

    I never spoke about this until now, but this guy highlights my least favorite kind of debater, which I've run into several "Ew why do you like this? Its bad" Me: "why do you think its bad?" "Its bad because this character talks for too long in a weird way." Me: "Thats a fair point, but that doesn't really add up to the whole thing being bad, and you didnt really explain how its long and explained weirdly." "Ooooh we got a toxic manchild here." They always go to saying they cant have an opinion, when really I dont care about that? Whether you think something is bad is fine, but thats not my issue The issue is, as shown in the video, using blanket terms and not being specific with anything. And just not liking something for the sake of not liking it is fine too. For example, I dont like Juryrigg from Ben 10. Why? I just dont I could say I dont like his disappointing portrayal as a little demon, and I kinda dont like his machine building gimmick when Upgrade exists But, those are pretty minor, and are just my biases. I'm not gonna say "Juryrigg is objectively the worst alien!" Only that I dislike him even if my reasons probably arent great. My point is, either make your critiques better and more clear, or just say you dislike the thing because you do, as thats better than hiding behind stupid reasons.

    I enjoyed this video keep up the good work spiderman. The one part I liked is when you played his clip and then respond to it and analyse what he said 👌
