My three takeaways from this episode: 1) I take back everything negative I said about Amber from Season 1. 2) Angstrom Levy chose the WORST time to mess with Mark. 3) It's fair to say now that Allen currently is WAY stronger than Invincible.

I'm so glad they did a 180 with Amber's character. Most TV shows would die on a hill when they screw up a character. But the Invincible creators were like "Yeah we screwed up in season one. But now we fixed it even though it isn't consistent with the previous season." I much prefer creators fix their mistakes by sacrificing consistency then continuing to have insufferable characters.

It’s not really inconsistent tho. They still fixed her character in a way in line with her character. Remember she was mad because mark lied not because he kept blowing her of. Now mark doesn’t lie so she is ok with it

Remember, Viltrumites can move BILLIONS of times FTL. To the human eye it would've looked like Anissa literally teleported in front of you in the blink of an eye. Very horrifying stuff.

Take note, even though she beat his ass, not a single human was harmed in her fight with Mark. She was educating him about the fact that he stands no chance. Nolan took the middle road and tried to guilt Mark into following. And honestly, Nolan is stronger than Anissa by far.

Allens a actual Sayain. He get's power boosts everytime he take immense damage. His hands are now rated E for everyone. You're not ready for this Allen smoke.

I don't think it's ever simply a case of one Viltrimite being nicer than another, it is that their mission is to annex many worlds and they only have so many to maintain control. Makes sense to them to use various methods to get Mark onboard before beating him into submission or slaughtering innocents. When that fails, then they send in a decimator.

I’m leaning towards Oliver being the hero of the day. I’ve been thinking about it and I remembered Marc saying to Amber how they (Marc and his mom) were hoping his (Oliver) Viltrumite side would kick in soon. I highly doubt that the brain/portal dude has ever encountered Oliver in any other reality since Invincible joins his dad in most other realities. Which means Nolan never leaves earth and meets the Thraxans. So I’m hoping that his story arc has been underplayed for that reason: he gets taken out by Oliver when he threatens his new momma-boss! Lol!

I believe Mark may cross that line, because it's way too close to Amber being threatened. Back to back threats to loved ones is too much.

Well, you've seen one other Viltrumite woman, and she splattered thousands of Thraxans and gutted Mark the moment he let his guard down. I would expect Anissa to be just as vicious and far more dangerous than the one Mark fought, seeing as how Mark almost won that fight.

i just wanna say when half the guardians fight the lizard league in the comics shrinking rae dies when kamodo eats him (shrinking rae is a guy in the comics they gender swapped them for the show) but in the show she survives the encounter so im curious how they will do her story moving forward and shows that the show will kill and death swap some characters

Crazy thing is in this specific situation and only this one she was actually nicer than Nolan was. Let's not forget Nolan's form of seeing reason was to murder a city and shove Mark through a train of people so his body would tear them up. If someone told me, after season 1, that I would be sad when Mark and Amber broke up I would have laughed in their face but god dang it. These writers really turned her character around. Don’t get me wrong, while I’m sad for the characters I’m glad it happened. This relationship wasn’t long for the world and if it continued to season 3 it would have been a waste of time. Plus I think he has better chemistry with Eve. Her being a superhero too is also a plus.

lol she's not good. She had orders to check on Mark and if he was still on a protector of humanity path, to sway him to the Viltrumite cause. She threw her best argument at him, a paternalistic one Nolan already tried. Then she resorted to default setting Viltrumite and dogwalked him. She had to hold back from snuffing him. Because orders. TO REVIEW: she's not good, not nice, not your friend, not here for the bullshit, and a bigger problem than you realize. And she's not even close to the strongest Viltrumite. Nolan held back on his son but he'd end her.

What's weird is that there's a viltrumite grabbing Amber's neck and the way I see it, she about to snap it like a pencil in front of a huge crowd of people and nobody's noticing, they're not running, hiding, or panicking. 10:43

I can't wait to see how they handle something Anissa does in the books. I won't spoil it but it made her the most hated character in the comic.

And apologizes for misleading her, without directly saying it I genuinely believe cecil doesnt want to take advantage of Oliver. Yes, he is the guy whos known for taking advantage of everything. But he is still a good guy at the end of the day. He sent someone who really would help Debbie, because he thinks she deserves the help. Not because he wants to take advantage of oliver. Only reason Battle Beast was hanging around Earth to begin with was because he knew it was off limits due to a Viltrumite living on it. He was already looking for the fight. The one he got was garbage, so he insulted them and left out of boredom.

I feel like it should happen still only because it can showcase the long healing process that it takes for a man ( such as mark) who’s been through that kind of trauma. And it add more to mark’s character and how he eventually gets through it.
