Some errors here. I have explained you that people still speak original Arabic, millions of them. Every time Muslim prays, he speaks Quranic Arabic, he recites Surah from it. This is the only way how Muslims pray, reciting original Arabic. And there are close to 2 billion Muslims. There are also people who memorized the entire Quran. These people are called "Hafiz", and officially there are over 10 million of them. Some sources claim that there are over 200 million who memorized it. So, David Ewing Jr is wrong in this case.

So, you are saying that classic arabic and the Arabic that is spoken now is the same as the original Arabic that was used during the middle ages?

@@NachiketaFire New words are invented and added because of society changes, but original Arabic is still here. You are not gonna find these new words in the Quran. Muslims to this day pray in original Quranic Arabic. Muslims do not pray like Christians, in their own country language. They pray and recite in original Quranic Arabic, and this is the only way. I'm from Bosnia, and my grandmother spoke and read the Quran in original Arabic. When someone tells you Assalamu alaikum, that's original Arabic. It means "peace be upon you". kzread.info/dash/bejne/aZeHk5KmkaebeZM.html

@@AnAncient76 Would you be willing to talk about your knowledge about the Quran and Arabic on a panel with me, for the education of the public, that would be a much more effective way than writing these comments, don't you think?

@@NachiketaFire Maybe, but some other time. At the moment I'm very busy. Btw, if you want to talk about Arabic, you need to find someone who speaks Arabic, and knows Quran, at least some basic things. I can send you some links. Arabic is not my native language, although i live in a country where majority are Muslims. This is why i know some things.

@@AnAncient76 I do know some people who know Arabic, though I agree with you that the Quran is original Arabic, do you know that the Quranic Arabic is what is used in modern Arabic speaking countries and that Classic Arabic works well with the Quranic Arabic, the reason why I ask is that I do believe that David Ewing Jr has asked around and done his research to know for himself, though I can't say I am at all familiar with Arabic, but I have spoken to some and they have mentioned that the translation, to the English, from the Arabic is off, and when I have asked why don't the people correct the translations, they said most people who know the Arabic, don't need the English and those responsible for the translations are, it seems, deliberately allowing the mis-translations.
