Imagine having 3 triggers that will instantly set a BIA or Plaits as a kick, snare, and hi-hat. Using Traffic, you can effectively control multiple sounds from a single oscillator using triggers, much like a preset selector.
Traffic features 3 rows of 3 knobs, with each row having an output for the values of the knobs. You can select the active column of knobs using the trigger inputs. The three outputs are simultaneous, making Traffic a 3 channel controller or sequencer. Plus, the trigger sum output sends a trigger whenever there is a trigger in any of the inputs, ensuring seamless synchronization of triggers and CV values.

Very simple and elegant way to solve a fairly common issue. Not hard to imagine that this would fit in lots of eurorack systems. Well done!
Looks great. For a follow-up, I think a video using it for something other than triggering a percussion module would be great. If you can show two ways to use the module, you demonstrate a lot more value... which is always good.

KZread Algorithm brought you into my life 🙏 Traffic / Water is it seem's coming into my rack, watched more then 10 videos about it in a row :) after I saw the first one. I like the solutions you have created here. Please if possible (have) take Polygogo E-RM Oscillator and make video with Traffic / Water, I personally don't have it, but see potential with this module. I am definitely locked into geting at least 1 for my workflow ❤❤❤ P.S. why no video about the Light Module jet ?

Whattefuck. I was sold in the first 3 minutes of the video having struggled trying to get my varigate talking nice to my manis itteratis, and then you pull out a completely new module at the end. No wonder you sold out so fast.

This is beyond fantastic! I have a question about the random modes. Does it pull random values from the microcontroller and essentially disconnect the knobs for those channels? Or does it "re-arrange" the knobs so that they go to different outputs? I was confused because you mentioned the internals being all multiplexers, but maybe you meant in base mode.

The random modes will "re-arrange" the knobs to different outputs. The multiplexers are analog and are outside the microcontroller, they act like analog routers between the knobs and the outputs.

I want this. Since my LittleBits modules can only pass their signals along one line, their signals have CV and their gates/triggers together. So this could be used to seperate the triggers from the CV values on the Korg SQ-1’s ‘LittleBits’ output.
I feel like you can do this with parameter locks with an elektron box and a midi to cv converter. Someone plz correct me if i’m wrong
