Sorry, I love Ring but... this is so confusing. Selling a Ring Floodlight Cam, Ring Floodlight Cam Pro and now a Ring Floodlight Cam Plus. All these variations will just confuse us customers. Especially when things like the Ring Doorbell 3 Plus costs the same as the Ring Doorbell 4 but is an inferior product.

Please make your floodlights with replaceable light bulbs. It’s silly to limit the life of your product to how long the LEDs last. Mine have burnt out after less than 2 years of use.

@@ring Hello, I already have. Your rep offered to send a replacement, which was generous. However I see no reason to replace with the same product that will fail again in just a few years. Your product development team should correct this common failure mode with a revised model that accepts replacement light bulbs.

Can one connect more than one mobile phone to the device

Wait so what different from the old one it looks the same and everything is the same so is the name just different? There’s no upgrades to this model

I have a question do I have to pay for it or it’s free video recording and also would the light still pick up motion without WiFi like let’s say the WiFi went down would it still work like a regular motion sensor light?

Excellent video! Can i install that camera where the old bell box alarm is at the front of the house? Can I use the wires from that bell box? It's a wired alarm that i don't use and it will changed to a wireless alarm. Thank you

The ring cameras operate on standard wire, not cat cables.

I love my ring floodlights. I can see the front and back of my house while I'm on the road trucking. The videos are very clear. I can see about half a football field away from my house. I asked one of the guys who cuts my grass not to cut around my car and not to bring people to my house. I saw him do both. My internet went out twice in a month. I called to have a have a refresh signal sent to my modem. The ring cameras connected right back to my wifi. I had an electrician take my old porch lights off and replace them with ring floodlights. I love of my ring lights and app.

Im just curious, how can u tell him not to bring people to ur house. Are they mowing the lawn in the inside or the outside of the house. U sound like u be doing too much if u ask me. I can see if he was going in ur house. Now if u have acres of land i understand but if not i dont understand your request. Geesh.

Can this be wired in series of parallel so my other exterior lights go on and off with its motion detection? By the way, I call customer service on two occasions and no one could give me an answer...

@@ring The ring spotlight cam with the hardwire kit allows for my other lights in series to come on when motion is detected. It has a red wire for this function. Do I need to return the flood light and purchase the spotlight camera for this functionality? my other spotlight cam is 2 years old.

Thank you for your patience as we looked into this further. You are correct; our Floodlight does not have that red wire your spotlight camera has, and because it doesn't have that, you can't do the same function. In order for you to achieve this, you need to return the Floodlight and purchase the Spotlight Cam. However, after doing additional research, we found that our new Spotlight Cams are missing the red wire as well. Essentially, at this time, the only way to achieve what you want is to get one of our Spotlight Cam Hardwired Converter Kits and a Spotlight Cam Wired Certified Refurbished. Hi Jean. That is a great question. The Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is not battery powered and is a strictly hardwired device. Ring devices require a steady stream of power from either the battery or wiring and also require a wifi connection for the device to have optimal performance. If there were a power outage at your home, the Floodlight Cam Wired Plus would not be able to perform until power is restored and a steady wifi connection is provided. @@ring Since there is no Floodlight Cam with a battery options... Can this model you just mentioned be attached to any of the Smart Lightning Floodlights? By removing the sensor and attaching the Spotlight camera.

Thank you for your reply. The Spotlight Camera mentioned above cannot be attached to additional Smart Lighting by removing the sensor from the Spotlight Camera and attaching the camera. We do not recommend attempting this as it would void the warranty on the device. However, with the Spotlight Cam Mount, which is a hardwired only device, you can add external lighting with the device. Bought this camera in June 2022 and have it installed. I did not realize that until a few months ago that the light shuts off automatically after 5 minutes or so after you turn it on. Called Ring and they did their trouble shooting and found out it is defective. Their solution? I need to buy another one because it is past the 1-year warranty period - just by a a couple of months? So the solution for you sending me a defective product is for me to shell out more money? Unreal. The worst part is that I can see from this comment trail that they have replaced the floodlight camera for people who had problem with it long after the one year warranty period. And I have two Ring systems on two houses.
