The 9 blade turbo has got a super unique sound, I don’t know if I like the sound more than the 10 blade but they both sound sweet!

Mine had a 9 blade 68mm screamer i had to turn the high idle off when I did early morning shifts as it would piss my neighbour off severely

I do like it but I’m shocked at the difference in tone. Completely different pitch. It’s more in line with a SC whine. Keep up the great content, Josh. I love the uploads and look forward to watching your videos, brother.

Any 9 blade wheel will have a nasty spool sound, they are one of a kind noises

That's why I bought probably the best supercharger made from stock. An audi S4!! Insane power at 550 hp

That sounds insane like a jet engine combined with a deisel hot rod ! Best I've heard yet!👌🏻

At first I was unsure about the different turbo whistle but I have to say it does sound really good. 👍

Truck was like, "dude, you didn't even warm me up before you warmed me up. Where is the foreplay lol.

The sound of the 9 blade is awesome!

Up pipe bolts: Astro compact right angle air impact tool is a must. Zips them right out fast and easy without snapping any bolts. Edit: The Astro was also partially designed by the Torque Test Channel.

I like it when guys start those diesel engines up when it’s like below freezing then just rev them up that diesel knocking sounds really cool the sounds of high compression like sticks of dynamite going off

I installed one on my lml a couple weeks ago, I love the way it sounds and it pulls hard as well!

It's a bad day to be an LB7 guy, really liked the sound of the 9 blade lol.

If you take a vacuum and tape a small peice of hose to the end you can use that to carfully suck the power out of areas that you don't want to powerdercoat. Use this trick many times. Works Amazing

Took about 8-10 days to process and ship. Wasn’t horrible. Worth it forsure. Now I need efi live. Getting a low boost code because of it being a little larger

I have a 2006 GMC 1 ton extended cab with an 8.1 that is now an 8.8. I didn't want a diesel until I subscribed to your channel. I hotshot with my 2022 GMC dually. I love my gasser but I will always have a Duramax.

Keep in mind what he said about the plugs. When I first started in mechanics, I had a coworker who didn't take one of those plugs out of a radiator before installing. Completed the install and he ran it. Need I say more. Haha

Lol I was like you want to go to 20psi or more when boost testing, especially since you can almost double that on stock everything. And those clamps for the silicone boots for the hot/cold pipes and the forced air system are meant to be tightened way beyond what you think those bolts can handle.

I've always wanted a truck like this. Decided I needed to spend my money on my children and family instead. By the time I was in a position to finally afford a nice truck, I got a lung disease (COPD) and had to stop doing electrical work and then go on disability. Now 55 years old, and it seems that my dream will never come true. I would give anything to go back in time and do all the overtime I could and then just maybe. Anyway. Your truck is so beautiful. I love it. Hate to fill her with fuel, but would love to drive her into town. Thank you for the video, brother.

Can always go to plan B. I bought a 4 door Passat TDI and can have most of the fun with a much smaller budget. It's not great to fill up but it's a little better only having to refuel every 1600 miles.

I just bought 30% injectors for my LBZ, head studs and a 64mm 9 blade is next on the list. That truck sounds great!

Sounds alot like the Fleece Performance Cheetah for the LB7. Never thought I would see the day that VNT turbo guys liked the sound of a fixed trim turbine better. 😂

If you add a nickel based anti-seize compound, it is good to 2600°F. It will allow you to remove the bolts without breaking them off.

Man I've barely ever had a bolt come loose easily, especially after a few heat cycles without putting heat to it and even if it's anti-sleezed. I pretty much expect it's gonna take heat to get em loose.

I know you’ve probably stated your wheel set up. What what wheel size are you running on this truck? I have 24x14 with spacers and my front suspension just keeps snapping tie rods. Probably going to upgrade to kryptonite tie rod and upper control arms.

This sound reminds me of those plastic siren whistles when we were kids that you used to get in a piñata or during Halloween

I would think that would get old real quick. I guess I am getting old, I love my power but enjoy talking in the cab. My 05 Cummins is straight piped with a second gen swap and man it gets old on long drives. My 04 Cummins has a muffler and cat still with a 64mm stock appearing and it makes things so much more enjoyable on long trips.
