How can Gruhns have only 9k subscribers. It’s crazy. This is, Emerald City Guitars and Norman’s Rare Guitars are the Meccas for guitar enthusiasts. Get on line folks.

It's interesting that you have taken on the cadence, delivery and word choices of Mr. Gruhn himself. I guess working with him and his brand would result in that. Great place - cool guitar.

These still remind me a lot of the Yamaha Revstar with Bigsby, a sub $1k guitar which some of the best players alive are now using. But I respect the unique aesthetic choices Andy Powers went with here, it's well known he has a passion Southern Cali culture and surfing and this new venture seems a perfect fit.. A high-end alternative to a Revstar. I'm still not a fan of Taylor acoustic guitars, but these are nice.

Corey is morphing into George Gruhn...His annunciation of words and the beard ofcourse. Not a bad thing at all, but everytime I see Corey, its like going back in time 30 years...

There are also plenty of affordable options for people on the other end of the spectrum. Even Mr. Gruhn himself will tell you that affordable guitars are better today than they have EVER been. If that’s not enough, there is a very crowded market of great guitars in between the affordable and the expensive.

Fret leveling and recrowning will be fun on that get up. Split radius blocks in half perhaps. Maybe ? Maybe not !

No, you'd just use a straight beam with abrasive stuck to it and follow the fret profiles. A refret, on the other hand, might be challenging!

a compound radius becoming a more common feature on guitars. I order necks from Warmoth and it has been their default normal for years. It's not as bad as one might think.

Its not a simple compound radius, its variable radius from high E to low E on the neck , not from 1st fret to 24th fret

Gruhn Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, and Tim Pierce. How does a guitar company come from nowhere, and get 3 major names in the guitar industry to tout the benefits of this “new” guitar company?
