The thought process behind packaging, and assembly directions, which I think would be difficult at best, is the entertainment in my opinion. With your editing skills, it would be a bit more than entertainment as there would also be an element of teaching. Anyway, I really just wanted to say you two do excellent work and as a new subscriber I am really enjoying your content.

I absolutely love this idea. My only concern is the size. It looks so much bigger than I could hang on my tree. Maybe next year's can be smaller. Otherwise very cool. 🙂

Unless you have a very tiny tree - it should fit! Remember, it can also stand up on its own under a tree or on a shelf. 5” tall and 2” wide at the base

I LOVE THIS IDEA! When I first saw the video of the Hurricane LoL going together, my first thought was "They're doing a puzzle!" I'm glad to see you are doing something so we DIY'ers can get in on the action. I look forward to your more intricate (multi-media?) designs to come!

Have you had any troubles with material thickness? I'm unsure about that bamboo veneer, but I find Baltic Birch can vary +-0.1mm, which just adds even more frustrations.

we have had thickness issues in the past - but we source this bamboo from our laser manufacturer and the tolerances and quality are very high. That being said, it is a wood product and I bet it could vary +/- .1mm - a big part of not using finger joints in the design was to give me some wiggle room to account for any variance in thickness.

Are these only going to be available in this material?
