Intro To Hybrid Picking - Country Guitar

Ойын-сауық

Hey guys, a little teaching video today showing you the way I got started with Hybrid Picking. This is an awesome technique that I use all over my playing, not just in country! For any of you vets out there drop a comment on how you went about learning this technique!

Been practicing finger style the last few years and lately been thinking about hybrid picking. This video got me to actually try it and gave me something to work on to start with, good stuff!

I will add that one could practice hybrid picking while watching TV or whatever. deaden the strings and only concentrate on your right hand attack. it worked for me, especially since my left hand has so much to give. thanks Tim! you're the most humble pro guitar player on here

Hey Tim thanks for the videos. You're very humble😊, and I am very appreciative of that. No need for apologies on anything you are doing. If people who are tuning in don't understand that we all make mistakes, not sure what to say about that. lol.... The way you have the videos produced, are great. The rawness is great. All good.👍 Just caught the end of your video as well definitely would like to see some more country type instructional videos. As I am programmed in '80s hard rock and roll and blues.😅

Ever try one of those banjo-style thumbpicks? I just started doing that and I love it - leaves all of your fingers free for picking. Feels a little different than a normal pick but not too bad.
