Wow, Don Davis comes across here as a really nice, genuine guy. Always liked him throughout Stargate...like him even more now after watching both parts of this interview.
He has one of those voices that you can always remember, I think he's a great guy .....
R.I.P Legend🙏
Sad to hear him talk about the amount of pills he had to take daily and how he'saware of his mortality. He's so honest and dear. He was verclempt when he talked about Teryl.
I am so happy that he was happy in those last years ❤❤❤
Time gives you perspective specially went you realized you are the blades in the blender. This is why he is trying to make a difference now in the way he can. Hard work, friends, loyalty and have some fun. Do the right thing for the right reason, not because it easy. You are are good a Man to Humankind, Great video. R.I.P.
What a dear sweet man. Such a great loss. Thank you for sharing this interview.
Oh my, this is pure gold.

In a way I agree with you. Sadly though, now I can't meet him at a convention and get his autograph. I waited too long to appreciate his work. : (

would have been 77 years old at the start of 2020. as a very well cultured man I would have been interested to hear his opinions. RIP Jon!
He got that rizz, he went over for a night cap
I love him, and respect him. I think he's a great actor, and a gentle soul in general. Yet I can't listen to his views on war and treatment of prisoners as if one mistreatment justifies another. I will politely tap out of this video, and continue to remember him the way I saw him before.

I think his views about the politicians are spot on warfighters don’t start wars the fat cats do. I don’t think he was saying that one bad action justifies the other, nuking Japan was absolutely the right call not even for the reasons he listed but because it was an act of mercy and protected our people from the meat grinder that land invasion would have been

I think in general his outlook is that while we do make mistakes the us military is overall made up of good people trying to do the right thing which I agree with, but they are victims of the politicians which is absolutely true as well. The actions of Japan and Germany were truly evil they are unjustifiable and can’t be explained or excused away. It was a janky way to put it but I think you are misinterpreting his statements

Then clearly, you know nothing of history. Davis was absolutely correct in everything he said. You will realize this as you will grow older yourself.

@@Utubesuperstar Precisely, people who've never heard of Operation Downfall usually tend to have this very miopic view of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
🙏❤️❤️❤️
Is his art not online?!

Don used to have his own Web site for his art, but I don't know that it is online any more. Now that he is no longer with us his art is in the hands of collectors, and his widow and his friends.
That's why actors should be actors and not be doing clumsy political comments. RIP Don S. Davis.
