Lord Ba'al dialed home for the last time. 💔
What a genuine guy ❤ great man, he will be missed....
Sad to hear Simon Cliff's passing. He made Ba'al a more 3 dimensional character who had a sense of humour .

Indeed 😊
Actually Baal was the second alien to eat a powerbar. Daniel fed one to the Unas, Chaka, once, long before Baal had one.

Doesn't that mean that teal'c eating powerbar type foods when they went back in time was the earliest instance of an alien eating processed food on earth?.. Splitting hairs I know, sorry lol..

Cliff made Baal a very good character, RIP Cliff Simon you will be missed!
RIP Baal bon voyage!!
The sexiest, charismatic and funniest villain of all time. RIP, Cliff 🙏🏼🥰
You were the GOAT, in any series, in any genre, in any period, just the greatest RIP Cliff Simon
What a class act. No wonder he is SG-1s most loved villain.
This was quite an interesting and entertaining interview, I enjoyed it very much. Interesting that he predicted the "made for TV" movies. Even more interesting that the second one was really focused on his character and ultimately the end of his story arc and his demise-he also mentions how his character needs resolution.

I was glad that the character got the closure which Baal deserved.
I just find out of your passing mY God have you in His bosom RIP .you were my favorite Vilas ill still see you in movies. Until we meet one day on the other side❤😊❤
Great Actor. Another great that's left us too early from the cast of Stargate SG1 or Stargate Atlantis so many of the cast members are sadly not with us anymore and to hear that someone like Cliff Simon whose only 58 has now gone too. It's very sad and I hope all his friends & loved ones are doing ok. us stargate fans from across the pond. Wish you all the best & R.I.P Cliff Simon, at least you were doing something you loved.
GOODBYE 👋🏼 LORD BAAL aka CLIFF SIMON.... THANK YOU...

My favorite villain, enjoyably evil.
Episode Idea #BradWright We can pay #Tribute, keeping him alive by bringing back #Stargate with a #Digitalised #Clone of #CliffSimon,... or at least a #Tribute episode. A Clone that wasen't tagged and managed to get into hiding prior to the #SGC team hunting them down. ... He will be missed by all, #Stargate fans.
Wow. Cliff Simon passed away. :(
Love listening to these interviews, recently been on a Stargate binge.

The greatest system lord ever.ALL HAIL LORD BAAL .
Not the first alien to eat a power bar on the show. Chaka, the young Unas, was fed some by Daniel.
Man that pitch that Baal joins with SG1 was always a favourite of mine. I mean it wouldn't have worked prolly, cause he was too valuable to keep as a villain. But the idea of having a defecting Baal clone going badass with good and true intentions... that would have been awesome.
We Love Cliff Simon.
RIP to Cliff, he lived LARGE and with GUSTO
BAAL -- As in BACHI?
Ba'al is my favorite false god. Yes that powerbar scene in the quest was funny he contstantly hinting "I cant think on an empty stomach"
Baal was probably the longest running goauld partly because the fans loved the character an you cliff. At the time SG1 was cancelled it was a little sad but we still had Atlantis and the franchise was still going strong so there wasn’t too much of a problem. Plus we got the movies which tied up the loose ends. When they cancelled Atlantis and then universe the fans really were upset. Pleas MGM either bring back Stargate even if it’s just a movie to finish off Atlantis or universe or sell it.

@@mojebi3804 I wouldn’t say terrible. Just sub-par and rushed. Still enjoyable though.

@@mojebi3804 Arc of Truth was rushed, but they didn't have much of a choice, since they had to wrap up a very complex storyline in a short period. It was worth watching but had real flaws. Continuum wasn't rushed though. It was paced well, and in general a really good movie and wrap up of the series imo.
Ba'al is definitely the Little Finger of SG-1. Always scheming.
RIP
I honestly dun mind the show slowed down a little by the time we reached Ba'al being introduced as more than a side-noted character. We had the action and heavy A-to-B direction from the realy episodes and seasons. It allowed for more immersion and expanding to the Stargate-verse.
A true Ba'aller.
RIP, Cliff
13:16 I would like to know who everybody was at that summit, only half were named.
which baal is your favorite baal
Ba'al was the most charismatic villain. The only time he was less than that was when he was obliged to help in the search for Merlin's weapon. He was more like Dr. Smith from Lost In Space - whiny and wimpy.
RIP My Lord... aka RIP Simon Cliffs
The Villian everyone Loves to Hate and Hates to Love.
*RIP Cliff Simon - Ba’al*
He thought season 11 would be picked up and it sort of was but mgm wouldn’t let apple do it
I would have loved to see Baal or clone as an ally in SGC LOL. After all, if Jack could tolerate Russians in the program...
Interestimg theory here: if all the ba'als were implanted with a chip allowing them to share one anothers sights/sounds/experiences(or just watch on a screen somehow would work too I guess, but anyhow-), then it would explain why he is more human like in personality because his thought patterns would be more diverse than the regular gauld also this would allow for ba'al to retain his awesome playfully destructive false god who is "trying" lol, type of personality to stay in the show.. Im just saying, I thought all the ba'als shared a certain personality likeness that stood out and now that I think about it maybe David Read should see this comment and pass it on to the show writers..the new stargate series is coming, I haven't give up hope..end of nerd rant..lol
Dang it. My favorite villain killed my favorite villain off.
rip
R.I.P CLIFF SIMON (LORD BAAL) Why does sound like the guy asking questions is like 50 feet away

Ba'al and his organization should become a pirate, smuggler, opportunist type.
He looks like a Homeless Person. Couldn't He have Shaved and combed His Hair for the Interview???
Love the actor ... Hate the character.
