I'm 73 years old and play your music and have played your music for 50 years. --- I started listening to you in Bars in South Louisiana in 1970ish at 20 years of age and while playing pool with my brother in law ... --- I've been always entertained by your music Gene .... There were so many great Country Music Singers in the 70's and 80's , BUT you have always been one of my Favorites .... Thanks for a Life Time of Great Music Gene Watson !!!

I’ve been a Gene Watson fan since the first time I heard “Love in the Hot Afternoon”, when he was just getting recognized as the great singer he is. And I would drive to San Antonio to see him at the Farmer’s Daughter. I recently took my wife to see him at The Post in Orange Grove Texas, and he was as great as as always. “Love in the Hot Afternoon”, and “Farewell Party” are two of my all time favorite songs and I can’t forget “Paper Rosie”, but Gene still has the best voice in music, and he’s a true gentleman.

We love you to pieces Gene Watson ....you are simply the very best performer and gentlemen!!♥️♥️

I did get to see Gene a great show.

Such a great interview. He is suc h a gentleman. So humble & sweet. Love this man 60 years in my life. The best ever! He needs to be in The Country Music Hall of Fame! Why hasn't this happened? He deserves this Honor! What can a fan do to make this happen.??? I'am a texas women , who lives in Houston & we here love& respect Gene Watson! Make it happen!!!❤

Gene Watson has been my very favorite male country star. He’s got a strong and great voice, love Gene Watson

Gene Watson sings so well it scares me sometimes. A few of his songs make me remember things that are better off forgot. He can touch you in the most private part of your mind. I keep one of his C.D. in my trucks radio along with George Jones as they are my two best artist.

I hope that someone can let Gene to get in contact with me. I lived across a street from his father in Coldspring texas, which was called the bottom..He would know where that is.. I had met him back then, and met again with him again a few years later, in the early 80"s. It was after had father passed away... Always loved him and all of country..

I Love all Gene Watson’s Music but “Outside The Box” Is the Best Ever, usually when you get an Album there may be 1-2 songs that aren’t your favorites but This Album there’s not 1 Song that I Don’t Like, There all Hits! It’s The Best Ever! Thank You Gene for a Wonderful Album of Great Songs, You’ve outdone Yourself, You’ve always been Great but this Album is More Than Great it’s The GREATEST ❤️❤️❤️
