Back in the flip phone days , I live in Ca from AR. My sister went to a Gene Watson show, In Greenwood AR, knowing I'm a fan , she was in line to get a Watson autograph , and had me on the phone bragging she was there and I wasn't. When she got to the front Gene signed the CD photo and she told him I was a fan in Ca. He graciously took her phone and said hello Ca for a few seconds. Always a fan and will never forget his personal favor to me that evening .

I have met Gene Watson and he is one of the nicest people I have ever met.He always had time for his fans.

He should be in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

He is such a gentleman. We love Gene Watson. He is simply the very best. Sure wish he could come to southern California. He has so many true fans here. Great singer and performer! Yes! I am very agreeable. You know good voices when you hear them These two are the best. I am so sad Ricky wasn’t able to get over that big Nashville control of operations. Guess God had other plans for him.

He truly is a great singer! And I also really enjoy the appearances he's made with Rhonda Vincent! So fun!! I also read that he lost a daughter and what a sad thing to read. Does anyone know if Gene is married? I hope so because I'd hate to think of him being alone after losing a precious daughter! Btw, I got his latest email that showed his 80 planned appearances coming up to celebrate his 80th birthday. I hope we can all get to at least one of those shows to see him in person! How great that will be!!
