What an amazing testimonial.. from Gene Watson like whispering bill.. country music in general should be very appreciative still have these men around to be able to share their stories country music it's not hate for country music of this day. But I agree there is nothing better than listening to the traditional style of country. It's our heritage not hate...you hear that music row⭐. As the possum would say...... Real country music 🇺🇸.

Gene doesn't. Do you even know who he is? He plays small venues such as vfw halls and small clubs, maybe a small theater if he's lucky.

@@eaglebrown5921 Agreed. A lot of these guys don't have the money you might think they do. They may have a hit, but after you deduct all their expenses from going all over the country....and the fact that they don't have a regular paycheck - they don't make as much as people think. Even the top guys (like Haggard or Willie Nelson) can end up without money due to unscrupulous managers. It's not the glamorous, easy life some people think it is.

Gene used to own a auto body shop in Houston ( he was a body man before he became a singer) . He also worked thee when he was not on the road. I Imagine he has sold it by now.
