The International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) is celebrating its 51st anniversary in 2019. Since 1968, 30 countries have hosted this prestigious event for preuniversity students, and 83 countries have participated in this annual tournament. The aim of the IChO includes promoting students’ interest in science, in particular, the popularization of chemistry.
Many of you familiar with me will know I have a great affinity for academic competition! That is why we make this video to share more about it.

Fun Man was Head Mentor of IChO Team Singapore (2014) and served on the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) steering board for two terms (2014-2018), head mentor of the IChO Team Singapore, and WorldSkills International Competition as a Technical Expert for “Chemical Laboratory Technology” (SG).
Fun Man is the co-author of the top IChO book: "10 Things You Must Know about the International Chemistry Olympiad", co-authored/ edited with Prof. I-Jy Chang of National Taiwan Normal University . Pure joy to have supportive co-writers to contribute great pieces about their countries' training methods and share with the international community about teaching and learning for #IChO
