This is just a 15 minute(ish) video of the first day of Intermodellbau 2023 in the city of Dortmund, Germany. Please bear in mind that this is just a TINY snapshot of what's happening during the 4 days of the event at Westfallenhalle. This event is spread across EIGHT huge exhibition halls and cover ALL aspects of model building. from 1/700 static models to 1/5 scale. taking in EVERY genre possible.

Carm... it was very tough to resist temptation, there was LOTS of stuff that I'd not seen before, and I had to draw a line. I was at the show for only 3 of the 4 days but I was in Germany for an entire week, it's such a beautiful country and the people are so warm and welcoming... I can't wait to go back next year 😃

And.... there was a guy there who'd built a huge 1/4 scale King Hauler with car hauler, complete with RC Corvettes loaded on to it.... but the amazing thing was the fact that the truck had a 4 stroke, water cooled engine and ELECTRIC WINDOWS!!!! he invited me back in his display stand for a closer look an it was insane from front to back.

it was insane just how they managed to do that just be looking through FPV goggles.
