ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିରର ପଶ୍ଚିମ ପାଖରେ ରାଜା ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରଦ୍ୟୁମ୍ନ ତିଆରି କରିଥିଲେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣପୁରୀ। ସେହି ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣପୁରୀର ଏକ ବେଦୀ ଉପରେ ତିଆରି ହୋଇଥିଲା ତିନି ରଥ। କାଠି ମାପରେ ତିଆରି ହୋଇଥିବା ରଥ ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣାଦି ଅଳଙ୍କାରରେ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ରଥର ଚକ ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଲୁହା ଓ ସୁନାରେ ତିଆରି ହୋଇଥିଲା। ସେଥିରେ ସୁରମ୍ୟ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ସଂଯୋଗ କରି ରଥ ତିଆରି ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ସେହି ରଥରେ ରଥାରୂଢ଼ ହୋଇ ତିନି ଠାକୁର ଯାତ୍ରା କରିଥିଲେ।
