interactive youtube subscriber robot

Ғылым және технология

Subscribe to my channel and turn notifications on so you get a notification when the robots comes back online.
This robot is able to move, dance, do funny stuff live when people subscribe to my KZread channel. To get the subscriber amount number from my KZread channel I made a visual basic application that searches for the subscriber number in the webpage. The application will than send this number to the COM port via serial. The Arduino will receive this serial string which contains the subscriber amount number and will than give command to the servo's. Most parts are printed with aluminum filament from Hobbyking. The brand is Esun.

Brian, I binged all your mechanical deigns, they are awesome, was wondering if you could point us in the direction of good tutorials for mechanical design like this. I am a software/hardware engineer, been trying to dive into designing things like gear boxes, but something is just not clicking. I use Freecad for my designs, but should be able to learn from and program. I do appreciate your time.

Hello Mikey, thank you. I haven't worked with Freecad yet, but I highly recommend you to use fusion 360 which is a free all in one CAD/CAM software package. There's a guy called Lars Christensen who has some really great tutorials on how to use Fusion 360 properly. kzread.infovideos A second tip i can give you is just to use whichever software you're using as much as you possible can. You do learn to use your CAD software properly by practicing a lot. I first started out with Autodesk 123D design back in 2015 and then switched over to Fusion once the support for the 123D software ended. Throughout my whole learning experience all I did was just practicing a lot and ocassionally look up a tutorial on a specific thing you're stuck on and that's pretty much it. It also helps a lot to design something with a reason, just random sketching and extruding shapes doesn't bring you enywhere. I would suggest to you to pick up a simple form you have laying around, start measuring it and see if you're able to recreate it in your preferred software. gradually increase the difficulty of the things you're trying to design. Starting of on the other end of the spectrum and trying to create complex mechanical structures from the start might also not be the best idea, start of simple with a few basic shapes and increase the difficulty and the amount of parts the further you get. I get this question asked a lot and i truly find it difficult to explain how I learned all this stuff. I hope this helps you out a little bit 😉👍

Please check again, the file isn't in the files section on the page because hackaday thinks it's a virus. You have to look on the left side of the page, there's a link to my dropbox called "all the subby files" you can find the file in there.
