@@tringuyen7519Except they did. Here in Europe the price for 15700k is 500 euros. Intel finally started working on power efficiency and I must say that it is almost as good as AMD has now. Honestly I don't see much reasons to buy AMD at all now

@@GOLTURBO555 good cpu overall but 16th gen efficiency really makes a difference. just got my 16900KS, paired with a 9900XTXT it is pulling 420fps average on GTA VI while drawing only about 70-90W. a good ol hyper T20 is sufficient to keep it below 70°C when gaming!

Funny part is they're not here.

Yeah. They'll probably launch them in October/November of 2024.

Intel 14th is a joke and a meme im anticipating more of the same...delays cancelations and very energy hungry modest performance gains in long real world applications! Theres a reason intel has a market cap and stock price that is lower than 5 years ago

Intel has better ipc but worse process and in general execution(so lagging behind a generation), but they deliver best single core performaance which is what i need in my workflow more than anything else. Synthetic benchmarks dont provide whole picture as in real scenario during work its a mix of tasks layered. Here i am satisfied with performance, chosen budget option and looking forward their ability to reinvent itself as this company and customers deservs duopoly. Stock market is fluctuating so not really telling the whole picture in general, but yes from the stock market perspective/value intel sucks.

Arrow Lake will be trash compared to AMD Strix Point Halo & Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite X.

i never had an intel processing unit fail on me. i had multiple AMD fail on me. the choice is simple for me, i buy intel, i wipe my ass in AMD. CPUs as well as VGAs

Threadripper 7000, the 7800X3D and EPYC Bergamo and Genoa are truly God tier, but the rest of the Zen 4 AMD lineup in my opinion falls short of Raptor Lake and Meteor Lake in terms of performance.
