Thanks for the comments you guys. I spent the rest of my evening record/edit this video: DI method explained! kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZH1hwbWPaMbdo9o.html
I love the way you set up the integration by parts with the red pen on the left. It beats trying to remember the formula.
thank you for your videos. keep making them! p.s. that microphone is awesome.
Thank you soo much brooo...Ive learned some new techniquz for integration like this...Apreciate your effort ❤
I think I like Dr Peyam's solution better but knowing the "proper way" is always nice too
Hello bro, y como sería esta integral: x*tan(x)dx .
Thanks for uploading,You sir are a hero!!
Love the way how you teach! It helped me a lot. Keep it up! GOD BLESS U!
Van you make a video and show how to integrate aretan sqrt x .
How would I do xsin^-1x ?
sir you're awesome.. i now have another teacher ..thanks sir for the great effort for your every video
Thank you veryyyy much!! It helped me alot, keep it up!
Svp j'ai besoin la solution de ce intégrale 1/(x^2015+1) *(x^2+1) DX
You are very clear in you explanation keep up sir.
Thank you...this really helped me
Thanks for making math less stressful
Thanks again buddy! You are the best!
great teaching, thanks!
You're the best, really.
You just saved me from my finals
Love you sir.....it help me alot
it can be nicely done by letting A=arctanx, so x=tanA, dx=(secA)^2 dA, then follow smoothly
Thank you so much
Here it would be better to choose 1/2(x^2+1) as antiderivative of x
Very clever! I need the same integral but with x squared instead of the lineal x

I know this is 5 years old but I really wanted to solve this. At first I really overcomplicated it trying to integrate tan^-1(x) THREE TIMES but then I figured it out. Int( x² arctan(x) ) dx ~ Integration by parts: D I + arctan(x) x² - 1/(x² + 1) ⅓x³ = ⅓x³ arctan(x) - ⅓ int( x³/(x² + 1) ) dx ~ u substitution: - ⅓ int( x³/(x² + 1) ) dx u = x² + 1 du = 2x dx dx = du/2x - ⅓ int( x³/u ) du/2x - ⅙ int( x²/u ) du x² = u - 1 - ⅙ int( (u - 1)/u ) du - ⅙ int( u/u - 1/u ) du - ⅙ int( 1 - 1/u ) du - ⅙( u - ln|u| ) Substitute back for x: - ⅙( x² + 1 - ln(x² + 1) ) //no need for absolute value since x² + 1 is always positive.// Solution: Int( x² arctan(x) ) dx = ⅓x³ arctan(x) + ⅙ln(x² + 1) - ⅙x² - ⅙ + C
I love you sir
thankyou u safe ma life
Wow!! Brand new haircut
Love it ❤️❤️
Thanks a lot
The GOAT!
Thank you so much sir❤❤ (from india)
Awesome as always but only à recommendation put arctan also in the title because some people dont use tan^1 connotation

True, but if your at the point in your mathematical schooling where your learning calculus 2, its expected that you know the basics of trig, algebra and geometry that you learn earlier. knowing tan^-1 = arctan is like knowing 1/x=x^-1.
Sir ur method is easy and remembarable but can u plz solve the problem by using i late plzzzz
Thanks you very muchhhh
Thank you
Why you are not using pocket mic 🎤... itz make you comfortable
May Allah reward you well❤️🇧🇩
Yeah all simple integrals but what about the integral of xtanx*dx?

why not integral of ln(x*tan(x)) dx : )
@ernestschoenmakers8181

Well these integrals have no elementary solutions i think.
WOW!! thanks
Thanks for making it possible........
I prefer to let x = tan w and then dx = (sec w)^2 dw and arctan (tan w) = w. So we now have the integral //(tan w)(w)( (sec w)^2) dw and proceed with integration by parts letting u = (w tan w) and dv = (sec w)^2 dw and v = tan w also du = (tan w + w (sec w)^2) dw. (Note that II use the notation “//“ to denote the integral sign to differentiate it from the single slash used for division.) Then remembering the formula for integration by parts ( //udv = uv - //vdu ) we have the integral equals w ( tan w) (tan w) - //tan w ( tan w + (sec w)^2 dw.
O thanku thanku Mara bhaii
Thnku so very much sir...❤
Thanks for the
woooooow you awesome man eeeuuuii
Thank you sir
why didn't you choose X for differentiation?
@justabunga1

We use the LIATE method, or detail spelled backwards just without the D, in order to choose which ones to differentiate first and integrate second. The abbreviation stands for logs, inverse trig, algebraic, trig, and exponential. We choose arctan(x) since it was differentiated first and belongs in the D column since arctan(x) is an inverse trig function. x goes in the I column since it is an algebraic function,
Can you please integrate (arctan(x))^2😅
@justabunga1

It’s non-elementary, but if you’re talking about the complex answer, you can check it out through Wolfram Alpha.
VERY NICE
integral of tan^-1x/x pls solve it sum1
Good job
Can anyone do the integral of tan^-1(x^2)
@justabunga1
4 жыл бұрын
arctan(x^2) is long method, which requires DI method and algebra method combines together. You can find the answer here through Wolfram Alpha, graphing calculator TI-89, SymboLab, or something called integral calculator website.
Very nice
Isn't that the integration of 1/x^2+1 is arctg(x)???

tan¯¹ is arctangent

You misuse the parentheses here. If you meant the integral of 1/(x^2+1), the answer is arctan(x)+C. The other way is integral of 1/x^2+1 is -1/x+x+C.
Sir please integrate of logx(arctanx)

Is the DI method the easiest way sir

Yes, it is and saves less time for the examination.
If x is in dividing version!
In the integral of x^2/(x^2+1) I just substituted x = tan (v) hahaha
woooow thumbs up to you
This dude pro👍👍👍
Great
Aunque este en ingles le entendí mas que a mi maestra xd

Bro wtf in doing this i forgot the integral of 1/1+x^2 lmfao I was so confused of the answer then i realised that yea im dumb lmao
Yeaaah i did it
Fucking. genius.

😍
yeah i knew arctan, tan^-1 is for calculators eeeeh
Nicoo
This would impossible without the greatest equation in all of mathematics, e^(ix)=cos(x)+I*sin(x). The formula for inverse tangent and its derivative can be solved because of this.
