And KZread didn’t have as many videos back then, so it was easy to get Rick rolled. It wasn’t just some trend of people putting it in a video. Anything you searched was a video that rick rolled you. Then KZread cleaned it all up and fixed it.

Unlike MOST people, it seems, I didn't know this song when it first came out. Then, many years later, I was "Rickrolled" by somebody as a joke -- and immediately, I thought *"I LOVE THIS!!!"* and I listened to it over and over. And then I discovered "Together Forever" which is just as catchy. I saw Rick on Graham Norton's show, and he's *a really nice guy* who seems to be fine with being the biggest meme on the planet. What's not to love about that?

The fact that Rick has embraced the meme status of his own song just makes this 10 tines better 😂
