Guys, take into account what he said at the end there about straining tendons. I myself am waiting for the tendons of my left arm to heal after too few repetitions on my final set of the single arm preacher curl. Good advice man. Sick muscle

Some people get wrist pain from straight bars and the angle of the EZ bar puts less stress on your wrists.

@PezrulezHaakon Actually the Bicep is made up pf two muscles, the larger one being near the top of the arm, the smaller being nearer the elbow. The smaller muscle is used more when you do a full contraction which is why they are generally smaller because people rarely do a proper contraction

@zaniwilson Hey , I think i got the same problem , however i'm not that well schooled into English I don't understand the 'straining tendons'. My question is , do you have it when you are dropping a weight for example? When i do barbell rows and I have to put down the barbell , my lower arms start to hurt alot.
@MrMozskeeto dont know about sitting but when standing that's a exercise for your forearm, did it my self when I was younger and was sad about my forearms not getting bigger =P

This is my favorite exercise. But lol, I watch so many people do these wrong. People use too much weight, and do not extend their arms as far down as they should. I have arm envy when it comes to Joe. Man, I'd kill for arms like that.
I switched to using an EZ bar because dumbells hurt my wrists. Im doing 80 lbs 6-12 reps. Just depends on how strong my pump is going. I'm still having some wrist problems. Not as bad but i still notice it. Am I doing too much weight? I'm trying to build as much mass as possible so keeping the reps around 6 and 12 at the most when i first start. I start with 60 lb and end with 80-90 lbs on my last sets. about 4-6 sets.
the biceps has two heads(inner, outer or long and short) but is it really correct that this exercise works the lower part?

I know guys who have torn their biceps by lowering the weight down too much. When I do this exercise, I go extremely light. 10-15 lbs

I'm going to evolve the balance towards free weights in the course of this year. Hoping greater gains will occur. Put it this way, i hardly see The Ripped at my gym doing cardios or key weights. Unless it's crossover or pullups stuff. Thanks.SteroidsMakeMeStrong

actualy there is, its called the brachialis
The brachialis is technically not part of the bicep - bicep = two-heads = the short and the long head. the brachialis is not included in this.

Not everyone has the strength to do pull ups. I don't, wish I did but I'd rather build my way up there than fail doing 1-3 reps on the pull up stations.
@lieutnantEfz No, not at all my friend. You cannot emphasize different parts of biceps, none that will make any difference whatsoever.
There's a difference between fat and muscles, and for some reason there are a lot of people with high BF percentage who thinks they are buff because they have big arms, when in reality it's mostly just fat. Unless you have a vein on those biceps, they are fat, not muscles.

Isolation exercises can be a waste of time, better to do compounds. Hit those biceps while working out several other major muscles.

Have you heard about Morsch Muscle Madness? (check it out on google) It is a quick and easy way to get ripped fast.

This is a very dangerous exercise, I find its best to stop well before the point where it starts to hurt and user a very light weight, such that should only get hard like 10 reps in. Good for learning muscle control and strengthening the fine muscle fibers.
@lieutnantEfz No, you cannot ephasize specific parts of the biceps. So "lower biceps" indicates poor knowledge in anatomy.
