THOUGHT >> instead of relying on the metal clips, why not use a wood support beam instead of OR in addition to ... that would give more continuous support easily attached with multiple screws into the counter top.

Don't trust those brackets!!! I've been in granite countertops for 18yrs and have been out for many repairs for them. Build it in with board on the side. And make sure to use silicone around the rim to seal and extra hold.

I have undermount sinks in my kitchen and bathroom on quartz counter tops and the installers put some kind of adhesive on the rim of the sink that directly touches the bottom of the counter tops. I think that adhesive combined with the clamps is what secures it. Also I watched an episode of Building Off the Grid where a mother/son duo built a house out of what they called aircrete. It's concrete combined with foam which makes it lightweight but extremely strong. That I think would work awesome for the look you're going for without the weight of traditional concrete.

I'd like to use a larger undercount sink. Can the sink be supported by the plywood countertop eliminating the mounting brackets? Manufacturer recommends 1.5" on each side for brackets.

Great video! Instead of using 2 90's to connect your drain to your tank Id use 45's OR angle the PVC so it drains properly. Otherwise, you may get standing water or just issues with it sloshing around instead of falling due to gravity. (There is a whole science behind it that plumbers adhear to for code and good building practices). In all reality, it may be fine. Thats just the only potential issue I can see.

Silicone around the rim of the sink and stick it to the underside of the counter. Then screw it up there either with what it came with or any of the other ideas here in the comments. Also that white ring that came with the drain basket is not the best idea either. They don't tend to seal tight enough and they leak. Less headache way is skip that ring, use a bead of clear silicone around the basket and stick it in with all the other parts they gave you. To keep the silicone from getting all over the place while you're doing it, you can blue tape around the drain hole and around the edge of the basket. Makes final cleanup much easier. The old school way used to be to use a rope of plumbers putty, but that dries out and in a moving vehicle, silicone will work much better. This might help too.....kzread.info/dash/bejne/X36c3Kekdt26kaw.html. Reed knows what he's doing. Hope that helps. Good luck with that.

With not installing a p trap, the odors from your gray tank are going to smell up your bus. I know a lot of the cheap funnel bowl sinks just use tube but they have significantly smaller gray tanks which will have much less odor due to the size.

for mounting the sink : wat you could do is make a few blocks of hardwood (stuff that doesnt split) cut a groove in it so it sits flat under the countertop and still goes over the edge of the sink and gleu screw those on each side of the sink , it whont bend open and should hold the sink in place fine unless youre planning on storing 50 kilo dumbells in the sink you could allso put two pieces of lumber under the bottom of the sink from one side wall to the other wall inside the cabinet to suport it , dont think you would need the height and space next to the sink anyway and that should even support the weight of a set of dumbells layed in the sink i was joking about

I have my volume incredibly low cause the man fell asleep and ear phones just broke so i can't hear u guys to well right now lol ...... Also what is your plan to keep the wood from getting wet.. I know you are doing concrete but just curious... I did watch one of my favorite channels recently do a step by step concrete countertops for their kitchen and they have a lot of tips and does and don'ts in it. If you want to take a look their youtube channel is (mylittlehomestead) and just type their name and (kitchen countertops full version). Maybe it will give you some ideas. They even came up with a cool idea for the backsplash that also works as a shelf with the concrete. And it was just recently done. They also show you how you can dye the concrete to any color you like. Honestly their video has a lot of information on it.

@@GustheStruggleBus And the consumer shouldn’t have to do this. Don’t you think that before releasing a product for retail they test it in various ways? Like so these junk clips hood the sink up? Do they hold it up full of water? Do they hold it up full of water and with a heavy duty garbage disposal attached? I mean we have to believe that this R n D takes place though it sure seems like it doesn’t or firstly the sink would fall in. Secondly there would be no need for aftermarket brackets. I believe the manufacturer needs to compensate the installer. Not the buyer of said product. Thoughts. Has anyone had to contact manufacturers Corp office for anything similar to this.
