There's a product called "Goo-Gone" and will save the surface of your RV from the scratching and isn't that expensive. May take a little longer but it's like magic to remove stuff like that. I even used to remove thick ice. Nice lights btw, have fun!!!

Dude this would have been the most stellar video I've seen in the 30+ I've watched if there was audio. I am pretty close to becoming a serial killer because the side markers are my last project and I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out what to do (electrical is not my strong suit). Really great video nevertheless.

Hello. The LED lights look good. Looks like they will cost me around $100.00 to replace all, even the top markers. My motorhome is over 31years old and they all need some type of repair or replacement. I'll pick a nice day to do that job. Well you be safe in your journeys. Bye now.

Your LED's look really good, I hope you find some good boon docking places in Vancouver. The parks around Portland I think are way to expensive, it seems the further out in the country you are the cheaper they get, anyway good luck to you.

Is that motorhome made up from cartoon or fiber?

Currently helping out a friend with this exact project and the wires are not long enough to work with. They're essentially flush with the wall of the RV, embedded in the insulation. Is there a way to pull the wires out more without having to destroy the insulation? They are really stuck there, and thus far I've tried pulling them out with a pair of needle nose but to no luck as I am just pulling the rubber insulation surrounding the wire. Any help would be appreciated.

Might have to do a little surgery. you can open up the hole wide enough so the light will still cover it when you install it but make it easier to get at the wires that are in there. Then solder on a couple pieces of wire to lengthen them. Or if it's like my RV the wires run inside and I am able to unscrew a couple clamps and get some length and pull it through.

If it were my RV I may even go as far as to drill a new hole beside the old one and run the wires in a different way

Class A Living Thank you for the quick reply. I was thinking the same thing in regards to making the hole bigger, for now I will see if I can pick away at the foam insulation until I reach that flexible plastic tubing and hopefully that does the trick. Such a simple project and yet so much work haha
