That involves cutting replacing, welding, painting. Way too much work and money. Just going to get wide body fenders and call it a day 😂

Try to look around on alibaba, thr are a lot of stuff for lancer include bumper cutting evo x, varis, fq400 fits for lancer

In malaysia. We have evo x bumper that can fit 100% on lancer. No need to modify ..

What if you can just pull the top fender a little bit to match the corner

Evox front bumper will fit into lancer but not the rear as it match with the evox rear wide fender .

So I got some JDM bumper quick releases u think it would bring the bumper close enough and trim some off the bumper and then fill with bondo like u did? Need some feedback, bout a week out from starting the same project.

@@JRevs hey bro whats the easier way? I was hoping to get started on mine today. Just wondering if polyester resin will be ok ? As epoxy resin is hard to find in my area and only comes in like massive quantities which would be a waste of money for the left over amount. I also got got high tensile bolts M10mm thick x 1.5mm gap between grooves x 40mm long. I was wondering if there is a way to place something on the inside of the bumper that you can clip from the inside of the boot / trunk I'm just like stressin hard aye lol

I got them at my local exhaust shop I don't know where else to get them sorry.

nowadays you can just buy aftermarket evo bumper made for lancers (taiwan/china made them), no need all these mods. Just p&p

Been having a hard time to find all the parts I need to make the same on my lancer. I bought the same spoiler you bought and installed it, that was fine. But I have not been able to find the front and rear bumpers and the hood. It is hard to get those locally as I have only been able to find the rear bumper on ebay and it is pretty expensive for me lol

Lancers have circle gas caps while evo x’s have square ones.

Or you may go to facebook to search for tkm auto parts, maybe there will have something that you need

The reps don’t look good in my opinion. You can see the difference with the diffuser. I like to have oem parts as well not a fan of fiber glass parts. Also I would have had to paint it which would’ve cost even more.

Commander Cody fiber glass isn’t as good as oem, paint matched to the car already, the other bumper doesn’t look as good as this one you can tell the difference

I’m not pretending to be an evo my license plate says “Not Evo”. It’s the same with any car, no one wants to keep their stock body kit. If I can make my car look like a Supra I would but clearly it most resembles an evo x so I’m going to use that body kit. I got the car when I was broke in high school so I’m not going to have money for an evo x. It’s fun to learn how to work on cars and make videos so not everyone can afford the best and fastest cars. I learned so much from this car I would’ve never learned from owning an evo x.

Who cares if it's a "fake car" what's wrong with wanting to make the body look different? Car culture isn't just about engine power. People forget it's about looks too. Also I have a friend with a wrx who he worked on that can smoke an sti. Instead of being an ass why not applaud his efforts. She share in the passion obviously you both like the look of the evo x
