Love it. I have a '13 GLI. APR Stage 2. AWE Track Exhaust. A week from now I'm getting KW coilovers and a 034 Rear Sway Bar put on. All that's left is new wheels n' tires!!! The money always seems to go a different direction. :(

Sometimes less is more. Original lip looked better, my opinion, of course. Plus, I'm a VR6 fan who had a 1997 Passat VR6 2001 GTI VR6 2004 R32, which I still wish I had 😢

There’s a rubber wheel like at the automotive parts store that takes off them leftover adhesive

where on the vw website can you buy the paint do u have a link

I test fit on 2024 its trying to hard end of story going back to ecs. Keep shit classy with the dubs.

As long as you wash it off right after you use it , acetone would take that adhesive off with ease

So on my car, the 3M tape is actually coming off on one side. So that's a bummer. Thankfully they included a nice roll of 3M so I can take it off and reapply it. I also did this and had 4in snowfall 2 days later. It mentioned not to wash your car for a few days after applying this so idk if the snowfall had anything to do with this. My buddy's red GLI, his lip spoiler is holding up well and we got the same one. So ill just end up redoing mine. 🔥✊🏽

If that's glue residue, use wd40 and it will remove it then buff down any blemishes with car polish. I've been thinking in putting on that same tail but I don't want it to look tacky but it looks good. You should of wrapped it with a carbon fiber wrap

oem is always better and fits neater

I have the same spoiler. But I should have painted it gloss black ( like my front lip spoiler) before I installed it as you should have ( they fade and absorb contaminants)Mine is not on too taped down. Just been procrastinating on taking off and painting it. But these do look good.

On the MK7 I can't be for sure since mine is an MK6. I did change out my light housing and bulbs to aftermarket ones. OEM output is definitely weak tbh . simply getting some LED bulbs should help

I think Jettas are great first cars. Even better a GLI because of how fun they can be to drive. Great gas mileage and an introductory feel to luxury as this is still a German made vehicle. I would recommend it

I would recommend a 2014+ as it has the pretty LED tail lights and the edition 30 & autobahn has the Xenon headlights. Also do your research on “VW timing chain settlement” before buying.
