Just a little bit of helpful advice, as someone who has installed a lot of these short shift adapters on Civics this gen and of past, I highly recommend you put some type of tape over the Allen screws that tighten themselves along the ball/shaft of the original shifter connection point. They will eventually unscrew themselves over time due to vibrations and general shifting use. You can also use something like thread locker blue if your so inclined, but the non messy way IMO is just some simple tape wrapped around it twice over, it will keep them in place and prevent them from vibrating loose. If you don't do this, in a month or two from now, you will find that the shifter doesn't go into gear smoothly and may completely bind up because the ball that connects to that weird connection to the linkage has loosened up and fallen out and it's not engaging the gear correctly. Anyways, love the videos, keep up the great work! Hopefully I'll get myself a Type-R in the future.

Just installed it today and I adjusted the adapter to it’s lowest, shortest setting. Now it’s the same short throw I had in my 04 STI with the Kartboy short shifter. I did have the whiteline gearbox bushings with it also. It’ll allows me to shift faster, down shift better with confidence it’ll be going into each gate. This improves drivability tremendously. Best mod so far!

You should do segments of fitness, think it will do better for the channel. How to meal prep, what’s macros ect. That shifter bushing goes on the top of the transmission underneath the shift cable. Thanks for the content Dustin!

Just ordered one. I used to do car audio installations so removing the center console shouldn’t be an issue as long as I make sure I don’t break or loose any clips. It would’ve helped others how some panels needed to be removed by lifting up or straight out, screw locations which you did mention.
