Car covers give you bad swirls and scratches and considering it's a black car where the tiniest defects are noticeable, it's better that it was uncovered.

Nice color same as my 17 CTR. I love the black paint on the type R. It's more subtle and more impressive when it's clean than white is I think. Since you're parking on the street definitely invest in a ceramic coating and take the time to wax it after a wash. I've got some hard water spots etched into my paint already so I'm going to have to correct that and then protect the paint. My favorite mod so far has been the mishimoto intake. It really improves the turbo noises.

S Furm yes....but at 0mph the gov only revs to 4K rpm. It is meant for launch control. When in gear and moving it fully revs to wtv a type R revs to(9000 rpm as example). Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough for you to understand.

Also, some new cars will limit revs until you reach a certain mileage for break in.

K T yeah I’m aware but it’s not a launch control, most modern cars, if still in park or not moving don’t let the engine rev out. 4K RPM is way too high to launch that thing.

Dustin the 4K rev is 2 step so you can launch. I have 2012 civic si and it also revs to 4K but when you have it in neutral it will rev to full 8k. These cars have factory 2 step

youll have to send the ecu in to get it unlocked, Ktuner charges about 300 bucks and next day ships it back out. Then the Ktuner v2 is 650 and has a display screen you can do whatever numbers you want on it. but the Stage 1 tune has been shown to make about 40whp and 60ft lbs.

I could be wrong but I think the 4k Lim is part of the safe break in..once you get to a determined number of miles it will open up to it's full potential..

Not only is it the LSD in the Type R that gets rid of torque steer, it’s also the scrub radius of the suspension that helps eliminate it. I can’t wait to see what you turn the Type R into!

So in theory if you get a more aggressive wheel fitment that pushes the centerline of the wheel out, you could increase torque steer.

Get that clear hood protector!!! Don't know what's it actually called but it's like a clear wrap over the entire car and it protects it from grime and rock chips.........

You can rev it, it limits it unless its rolling, you can get full revs with it rolling with clutch in and in gear. You don't have to be moving.

You know you don't have to use the keyfob. Once its in your pocket and you go to grab the handle or open the trunk it will automatically unlock.

i actually like the wheels, i would sell my evo for one but i dont think i can go back to FWD ive had many FWD hondas in the past i just cant do it again, if honda makes it in AWD or RWD id jump one one

zoovie Honda for sure feels way smoother than wrx imo. I came from a 02 rsx to a 17 wrx and I occasionally drive my friends 14 si and it feels so much better than the wrx almost traded in for a 14 si sedan lol but glad I didn’t
