I have been waiting for a short shifter kit and Hybrid Racing came through! What an amazing shifter with massive improvements! Re-Engineered from the ground up this thing is slick!

Man this gives me anxiety. seeing you take your car apart I haven’t even touch mine yet I want to do so much ,but I just love to seeing it nice and untouched lol 😂

@@GridZilla I've been talking with Jason on and off about it. Some days I'm ready to buy one and then some days meh. I think the 2 month old killing my sleep schedule is messing with me. Some days I'm so motivated to get back on track and some days I couldn't care less about it.

Nice looking shifter. Curious to hear your thoughts about how it compares to Acuity after a track day. Did you consider CAE? A guy left the Hybrid shifter open without a shift boot but regretted it the moment he ran off and a bunch of dirt got into the opening. For close up footage, the shallow depth of field and constantly shifting autofocus can be distracting.

Yeeaaah the focus hunting is a bit annoying. I have everything on auto. Think I need to put focus point on wide.
I took it the left cable out by rotating the clip 90 degree, it just unclipped and became lose but it still attached to the cable, and I can take the cable out of the shifter. However, I had a tremendous hard time to put it back.

Opposite for me… pain in the rear to take out. Easy to go back in
Have you had any problems? Heard issues with fk8, like bolts moving or shift knobs spinning

Zero issues. I did have a loose bolt situation on my FK8 Acuity shifter but that was 100% me not tightening it before putting the console back in. Once I tightened it correctly never had an issue again.
What is the dash cover you have? Looks great.

Unless I’m just tripping when you start taking apart the center console the dash looks like it has a sued cover over it.

@@fkhothatchi doubtful … I’d only consider the switch if the Hybrid Product didn’t live up to my expectations and it certainly has.

It’s not about lack of trust for what Honda gave us OEM, it’s about improving on what’s already good.
