PLEASE DO THIS IN A 3rd ROW

The top tether strap slides down and if tightened causes the car seat to tilt toward that direction. Do you have any tips?

Hi. Are you installing it in a Model X? What I do is pull it as high as I can on the shoulder of the vehicle seat and pull it as snug as I can. It seems to stay like that, but I’ve only had carseats installed for several days at a time since my kids are older now. You could try loosening the tether a smidge to see if overtightening it is causing it to slide down.

Hi Valerie. Are you talking about the legrest on the Rava? If so, you pull down on it slightly and push it in. It's a different kind of a motion, but not hard to do once you get it.

@@CarSeatSite Thanks for responding! No it's a rebound bar that attaches to the seat... I think it's only on the Canadian model as the bar is required here but not in the US.

Can I use tether on rear facing mode ? Is it safer to do so ?

Good question! No, the tether cannot be used when rear-facing. Nuna either hasn’t tested it that way or they have and it failed, so just attach it to the storage area and wait until forward-facing to use it.
