Hello! My unit skips over the heat setting. Also, I can't lower the AC temp below 69. Any suggestions?

sorry for the delay. I replaced about 30 of these units. they were just old. try replacing the thermostat sensor cord, it just plugs in.

The Ptacs in my building are bigger than those.

Is that 110 or 220 volts

Why do these units have a funny smell ? Can it give out carbon dioxide poison

they need be cleaned, and if the unit is not at an angle, so it can drain it will cause the bad smell. and replaceing the filters is important. l stayed at an extended stay for a whole year, and we had the unit replaced. If you notice the air is not fresh, asked for another room.
