Nice job on the video and installation; I hope the industry see the need to improve the PTAC units as they have the MINI SPLITS; so they are more acceptable for home use; the MSs are more quite, and a lot more efficient with one topping 30 SEER. The PTAC is more compact and an easier installation.

Thanks, I made a mistake buying this. I exhaust this back into my barn space and thought that it would stay on the heat pump mode due to some passive heating from red barn metal and sun. I was wrong, it does heat and cool well. I will try to find a better plan

I have one of these in my 36 /36 garage works good

My customer bought one of these, but didn’t know it didn’t come with a sleeve, sleeve is almost impossible to get, also pay attention to the plug before you go shopping for parts

I think you need a header on top of the frame. Two studs with no support is a problem.

The space is 525 sq ft with an 8ft ceiling. The Air Conditioning performance is strong and cooks the space fast and efficiently. It does heat well however the strip heater consumes quite a bit of electricity. When the weather is warmer it uses the heat pump which has an efficiency closer to that of the AC but is quite loud. This is my workshop so noise is not a concern. I’m a weekend warrior during the winter and I found it took quite a bit to bring temps up from 40 to 60 but held the temp well once there

Hi! Is there a way to STOP bugs from coming through the vents?! 😵‍💫🙃My apartment building has this same system but during the summer I have a hard time keeping them out of my apartment. Looking out my window you can see ants on the window ledge getting into the vent.. and other bugs (spiders, bees, wasp etc) near it but trying to prevent those bigger bugs from getting in
