In this video I install the Bixpy J2 Outboard Motor Kit to my Hobie Revolution 16 fishing kayak. Installation is quick and easy using the Bixpy Low-Profile Thru-Hull Adaptor. This adaptor can be used to install a Bixpy J2 to any Hobie Mirage Drive Kayak to add motor power to your kayak! This is a lightweight motor kit for your kayak and including the battery it weighs under 10lbs!!
I take the kayak and motor out on the water and test out the Bixpy J2. I find out the top speed with the motor at full power on the Revolution 16 and compare this to the top speed I can comfortably maintain whilst pedalling with the Mirage Drive with Turbo Fins.
Oh... and you get to see some Dolphins too!
