Installing 4 hole Fuel injectors Wranger 2 5L YJ
Important!!!!!!! UPDATE.... The $200 mistake...
I pulled the 4 holes out because I could not get the air mixture correct and that may have caused the flooding issue. Some people have done this with no issues, me I liked the increase in power but till I get the mixture issues solved I stick with the 1 holes. I did buy a brand new 4.0 throttle body and that makes things run better.
Swapping out the stock 1 hole injectors for some new Bosch 4 hole injectors.

A simple task that only requires a 10mm and 13mm sockets.
Now the Big Question... Why? Simple I needed to replace the old injectors. When I put the header in I took off the injectors and the intake and they were pretty nasty looking. If a job is worth doing its worth doing right.

Good stuff man! Did the same thing on my YJ
I have a 93 YJ 2.5 l Ali that bone stock and I love it but I did to gain a little more Powers I lightened the Jeep up I took off the heavy spare and metal tailgate put plastic one removed two seats out of the Jeep I mostly wheel in a Sandy River bed and it just floats on top of the sand it's awesome I love it
Excellent video/instructions; just had sensors replaced; huge difference; thanks!
Great video, got a question, is there any advantage in running the 4 hole injectors over the 1 hole injectors? Thanks, Dave from Oklahoma.
lol.. makes it look so easy. My first attempt, none of the injectors would go in. It took a lot of force to get into the rail, Go to put them in the intake, no joy. You can't force them in. I finally think I get it on. Bolt it down, start it up and it pours out gallons of fuel on the ground. Still haven't torn it back apart after a week. I'm just too pissed.
👍🙏
You mention in your updated description that you "liked the increase in power". But richer (more fuel) does exactly the opposite with the same compression. Leaner would give you more power, but cylinders/rings would run hotter, causing you to have to run less timing to prevent detonation. But you would actually have more power until things heated up. It's like how people think higher octane gives you more power, which is also the exact opposite with the same compression. If you raise the compression (by shaving heads, forced induction, etc) you need a higher octane rating (less volatile fuel) to prevent detonation. So the more power part comes from the raised compression, not the higher octane rated fuel.
i have a 95 2.5 did this make a difference in the way it runs?
Question for anyone who can help. My Jeep is a 95 wrangler YJ 2.5 and it recently has started to sputter and then almost lose power when I’m climbing in speed. Doesn’t die but I can’t get past 25 mph. Any suggestions??
Has anyone done a dyno reading before and after this mod?
Have y’all ever had fuel in the oil?
