Some guys used the carburetor of a Volkswagen 1300. The advantage is that it's very easy and cheap to buy spare parts. The estimation is that a carburator for 1300 and 4 cylinders delivers 325cc for cilinder and a Virago 535 with two cilinder is 267 cc each cilinder, so it's enough. But if you try to use a caburetor from a 1000cc car it will not work

Buenas tardes, yo lleve acabo mismo procedimiento de reemplazo de carburador, en si es el mismo, y tengo un ligero detalle en el encendido en frio le cuesta un 60% encender, una vez encendida y motor caliente, tibio, después enciende bien... Mi pregunta a la clave A que refiere con AFR 1.3/4 (UNA VUELTA ESPECÍFICA DE AIRE Y Combustible, una mezcla adecuada para que encienda sin problemas?

V twins need different carbs, as trhe rear cylinder gets hotter due to less cooling from passing wind. Therefore, you need a bigger jet in the rear cylinders carb to keep it a bit cooler on the charge

Si. Ésto es una chapuza para aquellos países en los que ya no encuentran repuestos para los carburadores originales.

main jet size 145 to 160,pilot size 42 to 50,and follow type carb you using.

hi bro, can you explain why you use 155 nozzle in manjet and 45 nozzle in pilot jet? I want to do the same to my engine, but I wonder why.
