Reverse engineering | Yamaha XV535 Virago Engine

This video is about a complete reverse engineering of a Yamaha XV535 Virago engine. This video was made for a semester project in the prestigious University Of Applied Sciences Fribourg (HEIA_FR). This project was done with the help of Romain Waeber and Adrien Rolle.

    Is it possible to set the same gearbox on the xv 535 virago? I have a problem with it being hard to get from neutral to second gear. Everything else works great just that problem. Greetings from Serbia

    Have you changed the oil and lubricated from the outside the gear changer pushrods? This helps with my XV500

    @@anttitenhunen4725 I DIDN'T CHANGE THE OIL. WHICH SHOULD I SPILL? DO YOU MEAN THE TRANSMISSION LEVER WHICH IS PUSHED BY THE FOOT

    @@draganmisic574 Yes, push aside the two rubber covers and lube the two balljoints with something like ball bearing grease and then pull the rubber seals back over the balljoints. Changing the motor oil seems to affect the gear changes too so change the motor oil and oil filter. If those don't work, then I might look foor transmission problems.

    Irgendwas stimmt da mit den Steuerzeiten nicht. Der linke Zylinder, der laut Hersteller der erste ist, saugt durch den Abgaskanal an. Anhand dieser Nockenwelle kommt nach dem Ansaugen gleich das Ausstoßen.
