Yep - same problem with iPhone 14 Pro. Going to a different location worked... once. Now, back to not getting a connection from the One X2.

Same here, iOS 16.5 iPhone 14 Pro & x3, manually add the Wi-Fi Network; for some reason is a Hidden Network, so iOS 16.5 will not recognize it as an open network. Please let me know (: good luck!

This has just happened to me, havent used it for a few months. Done a firmware update and downloaded it direct from PC to X3. it worked and now seems to be working.

I switched over to Indonesia for my country. Hi did the turn off turn on thing twice and it is currently updating the firmware and is linking my phone iPhone 13 pro to the 360×2. Thank you for the comments you save me another trip to Best Buy where I was having to go to return the phone

Same problem. For me, I went to wifi on iPhone and found the Insta360 and it connected to my camera via the local network (WiFi from the phone to camera) and it did a firmware update. Upon the update downloading to my phone and then uploading to the device, it went to "Scanning the Device" and it said to make sure the device isn't connected to another phone. Then it went back to "Connection failed". Went and reconnected it via WiFi in my phone and I can control the camera that way. It purely does not work with BlueTooth.

And if turn Wi-Fi and Bluetooth off and on it reconnects but only briefly

I was having the same issue trying to connect for the first time on my X3, did a "factory reset" through settings and it worked.

3 months in and now I am having this issue. Tried pairing it to my wife's Samsung S22 Ultra as well but even that isn't seeing a signal from the one x2.

I just bought a used x2 and getting the exact same problems with my apple devices, but then I was just thinking that I’ll be switching to android soon anyways, and that’ll solve it… guess not 🥲 …think they’re trying to force us to buy the new models

My One X2 is connecting well, but disconnects every 2-5 minutes and editing via Wi-Fi is too laggy. It used to be nice and smooth before but now it’s literally impossible to edit something without downloading. So annoying and I don’t know how to fix this. Tried this Indonesia-thing but didn’t help

@@SkzMotoVlog unfortunately no. It stopped disconnecting after app reinstalling but editing via Wi-Fi is still very laggy

I was having this same issue with my One X2. I hadn't used it in a long time and when I just tried to revive it, I couldn't get it to connect to my app. As it turned out, I needed to use the other Insta360 app. Apparently, the old app stop working with my Apple Pro Max 13.

@@rendinovazulbakri1122 Insta360, for some reason, has a few different apps. I had an older app. So, if you're having this issue, make sure to try the diff apps. (I can't remember the specific app.)

Nope they couldn’t fix the issue. Sent it back and received a brand new one since it was only 2 months old. I did find that this happens after you plug the camera into a PC. That’s exactly when my issue started. So now I charge the battery on a dock and put the SD card in a card reader.

@@TheMysticSpade I can corroborate that this might have to do with connecting to a PC. Never had the issue until a few months ago, which is exactly when I connected it to a PC once. So frustrating.

@@TheMysticSpadeone weird thing when I had my x2 connected to my pc while have adobe premiere open, the playback of my timeline would double in speed and pitch (audio) I highly suspect they have spyware in their devices

I contacted insta360 and they sent me a new one. Had to provide proof of purchase, they provided a return label to ship broken one back.

@@sunnyandbass Try to reset the Bluetooth mode, hold down the power button (small red) and the shutter release button (back) simultaneously for three seconds

Solved the problem: downloaded the latest Firmware from the website onto the SD card. Insert SD into the camera to start the update. After that, everything works fine.

Compré una One RS y una GO 2. Ninguna se puede conectar al móvil. Los productos de Insta360 son un pedazo de mierda.

What worked for me was taking off my phone case. So weird but it worked.
