Thinking about getting the FT2 and watched your video to get a *clearer picture* of what was involved. Anyway your patience in explaining was awesome. The other instruction i watched was by Ian Tan which was also great too. Thanks to *BOTH of You* for taking the time and trouble to video & explain to all of us on what to expect. *Awesome!* 👍

This is a freaking must for anyone that wants to do this themselves. 👍👍. Also, it physically kicked my ass too. Man!! Also, Im not a DIY person anymore. Nice job! I have an FT-1, it's a lot simpler to assemble since both sides of the frame are pretty much assembled out of the box and the cables are also already in place. Just install the three connecting bars and the weights. I did not go with FT-2 because it require a lot of space which I don't have. Also FT-1 is design to be in a corner which is my case. To everyone interested in buying either FT-X, FT-1 or FT-2, better decide where you want it installed because it's not possible to move it even an inch without wrecking it! You'll need to do a lot of disassembly just to move it to the desired location!! Be warn!!!

INSPIRE FITNESS should pay you for doing the video. I put my FT 2 together a few weeks ago and two problems I am having and inspire fitness support does not respond to help me out. First in the instructions it should specify that the metal shroud cover with the inspire lettering goes inside i was trying to put my metal shroud covers on with the lettering on the outside and I was wondering why it wasn’t fitting and I ended up stripping 2 of the tiny screws. I did install the metal shroud the right way after I was looking at several machines on line. The other issue I am having is that one of the Red levers isn’t making contact at the same time the other side is when turning the smith bar. I saw a video inspire On how to adjust the carriage but my outer latch needs to come forward not back as in the video from Inspire. It took me about 3-4 hours a night for 4 nights to put it all together.

I have the FT2....I just moved and needed to reassemble, this video helped, thank you. For the people thinking of getting one, the only thing that sucks is the SQUAT BAR.... you have to go down, lock in place, then start your squat, when you finish your reps, you have to go back down, lock the bar in the locking mechanism, and bright it back up, lock it in place, then you step out... it kills your workout, specially if you train to failure, you really need to leave some energy for the end to be able to go down, lock, bring up, blah blah blah... I am not used to it, I would get the other machine(SCS SMITH CAGE SYSTEM) with the same cables but the squat bar is more of a traditional smith machine, uses free weights but no annoying locking mechanism, TRY DOING A SQUAT ON BOTH OF THESE BEFORE YOU BUY..... you'll see what I mean...both machines are the same price, yea the FT2 looks prettier but just do a squat and you'll see lol

So, I was wondering if you could answer a quick question... I ordered the FT2 from Dick's Sporting Goods recently and it got delivered yesterday. I'm currently traveling for work and my brother accepted the delivery and they placed it in the garage. With this order, it was just the FT2 system... so attachments, benches, extra weights, etc... (those I was ordering next). When it got delivered, my brother pointed out that it said "Box 2 of 2" on the side (it looks exactly like the box in your intro segment). Is that the only box that is needed without all the attachments? Or, what's in "Box 1 of 1"? (Again, I'm out of town for another few weeks and I plan on assembling it when I return home, but just trying to make sure everything's there when I get back) Thanks for all the help!!! everything can be done with 1 person EXCEPT step 16 where you have to install the BACK SHROUD. The instructions call for you pushing DOWN on the shroud WHILE in tightening the bolt but to tighten a bolt everyone knows you need two wrenches so not sure how someone can push the shroud TIGHT while at the same time NOT using any hands as 2 hands are needed for the bolt.
