G’day from Australia and there thousands of Druze here and the earliest migration was over 150 years ago. My Great Grandfather’s brother came here around 1890.

@@kaus3587 my Great Grandpappy came here from Minsk, Belarus in 1923. Fled the pogroms and couldn't speak a word of English when they rocked up. His two sons went on to become Orthopaedics and brain surgeons respectively. Grew up in Maitland NSW they did. So I consider myself dinky-di Ozzy 99 years on from when it all kicked off

Why do you think so many Safardim support far right wing movements like Kach? They're sick of living under Arabic rule. Comparatively speaking the Ottomans were benign to their Jewish populace. Look up Sulieman the Magnificent. The founder of Israel David Ben Gurion even studied at Istambul University

@@jettawayadventures1081 the Ottoman Turks were the first to use Concentration camps against the Armenians and killed 1 1/2 million and were the first to use starvation as a weapon. During WW1 they stole or burned the food and livestock in Lebanon and starved the population. 1/3 of the Lebanese died and the others were saved only because the British evicted them. You can still see it on the internet. Try not to assume that only your people suffered. My Grandmother never forgot nor forgave and all her life she had a phobia against throwing out food or not having enough supplies. She died at 101 and always spoke of being hungry and seeing dead people everywhere.

@@adeybakria9384 yes but we are a small minority in every country we live in .. 7% of lebanese population are druze 1.7% of israeli population are druze 3.2% of syrian population are druze 0.5% of jordan population are druze and there are a lot of druze in many other countries countries like USA , Argentina , Venzuela , France , Canada ...

@@Greezy2000 I come from a Lebanese Druze family and we don’t talk much about Druze from the neighboring countries. We’re a closed community and don’t often think of people who live kilometers away. I would say we’re neutral, some Druze in Lebanon are even Zionists.

The Israeli Druze are Israeli nationalist but the Lebanon Druze are Lebanon nationalist but the Syrian Druze are divided in the Golan Heights between Syria and Israel . But the Druze religion is so wonderful .

Did you know that there is growing evidence that Jesus himself is from the Druze bloodline? If you believe in the shroud of turin, the DNA extracted from it shows an exact maternal DNA match with the Druze people. So, it may be you that is going to see hellfire, not the Druze. But, I don't believe in judging people like that. And, if you are a real Christian, you should not be judging people either.

Jesus and Druze have similar DNA because they are both natives of the Levant region.

Yes true but they mostly integrate well and are mostly productive citizens in any country they immigrate to. Of course there are exceptions.

I'm druze, and trust me when you are druze there's no freedom in your life. You're not allowed to travel or go anywhere on your own, no piercing, no rings, no alcohol, no tattoos, no smoking, and many other stupid things that are forbidden to do and if you do them that means your parents didn't raise you well or they will look at you as if you are a traitor to them...this is just a 5 min video that shows the pretty side of druze but trust me you'll be shocked by the rules and the reality of living as a druze. Sticking your nose into books, and coming back home sitting with your parents the whole day no matter how old you are, you'll be doing this for years and years and doing nothing else, no fun at all; literally, depression and then an ugly, stupid guy looks at you as a pretty girl and says: ''oh.. she will do'' and you get married and have children, cook and clean, and he'll be having fun going out and not you, because you're ''the lady of the house.'' This is just a stupid video telling you what the druze eat and shows you a bunch of streets of druze villages, but you have no idea what's on the other side of being a druze.

I am very confused as to what kind of household you were raised in. I am Druze and these statements do not apply to me and my family believes in our religion. I don't think you should talk about the religion based on your own life experiences. I personally have never met a Druze person who doesn't live their lives to the fullest.
