In this discourse a few questions have been answered by Om Swami.
The first question asked was- When chanting mantras, is it more impactful if the pronunciation is perfect and the meaning known. Also is it necessary to know Sanskrit to connect?
Om Swami says, not all mantras have meaning and not every mantra is a sloka, nor every sloka a mantra. There are some mala mantras, which have more than twenty letters and have a meaning. The Vishnu Sahasranama, The Bhagavad Gita and the Lalita Sahasranama are mala mantras. Each word in these mala mantras have a meaning which can be understood by a person. Meanings when understood make a person’s faith and their feelings more strong and resolute. The glory of the deity is truly understood and it will make a person connect to the mantra with more devotion and determination. To say mantras, one need to only pronounce it properly and need not know Sanskrit. The meaning and the pronunciation can be found on some sites.
The other question was-How to awaken the subconscious mind and purify it
Om Swami says, the subconscious is like a godown and it has many things stocked in it about which one is not aware. If this has to be purified then one has to enter it, so that one can remove the unwanted things. This can happen only when the conscious mind becomes totally silent. When a person is able to reach where his conscious mind cannot reach then that is samadhi. Here there is no thought process and there is only the union of the seer and the seen for there is no duality. This can be achieved through meditation, knowledge, bhakti, karma, compassion etc.

Sanatan Dharma is THE knowledge , eternal and path to reach the divine and hence no boundaries unlike Hinduism which is just a geographical identity by Arabs and parsis which has nothing to do with sanatan dharm Many people misinterprete and say both are same ,but Hinduism represent s culture of people beyond indus valley but the sanatan dharma values have been reached the world millenium s ago which shrinked and become limited ,later till what we call akhand Bharata which included Indonesia Cambodia Malaysia Columbus Mexico Tibet Kashmir Bhutan srilanka Bangladesh Pakistan Afghanistan Vietnam Thailand Burma phillipness Japan and many others..,and then later shrinked to india and sourrounding nations and then later only till india and Nepal and now only till north india and south india That's a different thing that today sanatan dharm 🕉️ ✨🔱🌼 is mainly accepted and followed in India and Nepal Yes no doubt that this santan dharma knowledge originated in India and sourrounding nations like theory of Karma dharma reincarnation life after death auyerveda meditation yoga and many more but it is meant for all the man kind ... Hinduism is not a religion it is a term given to identify people living beyond indus valley and around.. And it is sanatan dharm ,which too is also not a religion. Actually we don't believe in term or concept of religion .. The word dharma in Sanskrit and as per mahabharat and Bhagvad Gita means a duty and responsibility a person is bound too./ righteousness or ethics.. Like we usually in dharma ,say :A parent Dharma is to nourish and protect their child , a king /queen to govern his /her kingdom Following principles in dharma shastras ,Garuda puran and others. It doesn't mean king, queen parents and child have different religion .. They have different responsibilities they are bounded with ..or Ethical values Like in Mahabharata Krishna taught that dharma should be saved and justice should always shine and prevail here he mentions that Pandavas were more wrong than demons as they were watching injustice happening for their wife and kingdom but still they didn't responded or raised voice.. Dharma Protects Those Who Protect it..! You don't to be unnecessarily become violative.. But you should also not be blind and keep hand on hand watching all wrong and Adharma happening.raise voice. Followers of Sanatana Dharma find god in every single thing that he creates ,he is present in smallest of atom and largest we can imagine.he is present in sand cows animals nature river sun tree planets moon every where Even inside ourselves we just have to find him through end number of ways ,it can be anything or any path . Some found him by chanting or mediation , some by dancing in his holy bhajans and kirtans or some by doing good work in his name with pure heart and soul. Some by complete surrender and some by reading his holy scriptures and applying in their life..
