Gazza brought something magical to the game that no player has ever managed to do. His humor in the game was brilliant. Football sure misses Gazza. I do too👍⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Childhood trauma, he needed proper help, but in our society finding a therapist who understands CPTSD is difficult. People then wrongly assume it is genetic.

its a shame . he was such a gifted footballer, and one of the greatest players ever to play in Scotland.. and to grace football all over the world I believe he would have benefited from getting help earlier. but when you are a success on the field, and you are top of the world, his problems were not addressed by himself and those close to him.Surely the individual clubs could have tried to help him?He was and always will be a football genius.

I had the totally opportunist chance to spend a couple of hours chatting to Gazza about 18 ish years ago. In fact I didn't even notice him - I was having a drink in a hotel near Hoddesden in North London and the work colleague I was having a drink with said 'is that Gazza over there - naturally I told my colleague to F off and stop taking the Piss! However yes it was, he had been playing in a Spurs charity match, there he was, 10 yards away from me! Well naturally being a Norwich fan I was not particularly exited!!! Of course I was, and nobody else was left in the bar, and after Gazza's natural suspicion that I was some sort of reporter, we sat on the same table and shared a few drinks. All I can tell you is what a lovely, normal guy he was. So whatever you hear/see in the press is, in general, shit! Opportunistic moments that they play in their favour, I didn't see any of that in him (don't get me wrong, we had many laugh's, neither of us were up for the next pope!). Please give the guy a break now folks and let him live his life.

See the case of a poor shy boy that touched a girls arm, yes arm and he's waiting on his sentence for sexual assault. He admited kissing a woman. Advances she didn't welcome and he gets off. So the justice system has given everyone life with the same intent to go sexually assaulting women on trains. He showed no remorse and added insult to injury. The victim should sue in the civil courts!! Vile!
