If u can afford to buy a Ferrari supercar in Thailand means you can buy 3 Ferrari cars in UK which are the same spec and the same model. Car tax in Thailand is about 300% of base value.

I live in Thailand and 1/4 Thai, there are far more nicer rich people here than in any other Asian countries I have visited and lived at.Rich people here do not mind eating along the streets, you'd see sports car and other luxurious cars park along the street and they eat street food normally. You can also enter the shopping malls even the luxurious one in the most simple clothing you have. They are very nice to animals too and not hard to ask for help.

Chesca Rodriguez C, True. Even being thai super rich, you must always be discreet, mostly considerate and respectful of others. In Thai culture and mannerism, those could tell about your upbringing and your family. Other than being rich, are your behavior, decent mind and humility more importantly. If they act contrary, Society will disapprove by overlooking them. This will make their family and them embarrassing. In general, they tend to be well behaved and down to earth. So far, we, average Thais, don’t feel such a class-discrimination distinctively. Simply thinking, they’re so lucky from continuously accumulating good karma from the past lives that brought them being born with silver spoons in their mouths.

My family in Thailand have over 6 cars we have a house to sleep, food that provides everyday, buy everything I ever want.. in UK I saw many homeless and many ppls here jobless living in benefits but still think they richer than Asia.. confusing situation prove that many British have limits acknowledge about other country's..even poor ppls in Thailand have big land and own a house..

We work hard to reach our goals,..I have an English friend she's doesn't have any savings in bank account at her age, living in benefit awaiting for government to pay rent , food ext.. Is it call a life to put a life depends on someone?.. and many of them always moaning every single day about their life when they not make an afford to make it better..

What foreigners don't know is that $4 USD (140-160 baht) is considered A LOT back then 10-20 years ago (especially when she gets it daily). When they say "only $4" I smh. I was born as a Thai middle-class, and I barely get more than 30 baht a day 10 years ago. Fyi, a meal usually costs less than $1 a decade ago.

UMI🐉 The king has a lot of projects that help people in rural communities. Like the artificial rain project when thailand was in drought the thai king spent millions of his own money to bring rain via airplane. And the kings canals and dam projects. He gave money so that each farm in thailand could build thier own pond which can be connected to the cannal and get water from the royal dam. This means in the summer time farmers have alot of water because thai summers are very very hot. This was all done with his own money not government money. Also the princesses have alot of projects for protecting wildlife and building schools. The king was the one stable political figure in the thai political tumoil because the government in thailand is kinda shit and there are lots of military coups and corruption. Also the late king was king for the entire life of most thai people. He became king at age 17 till he died. The people knew that even if the government changes every couple of months at least the king was there. These are only the projects I know about because I grew up overseas but these projects helped my family alot because they live in the rural areas of thailand, and are farmers (not all farmers are poor. do not stereotype) Because of projects like these my grandparents made enough money to send my mom and her siblings overseas to study which is very very expensive. That is how the thai king helped common people like us.

I born and raised at China town (Full blood Chinese) but no one speak Chinese, everyone have Thai name and We think China is just nearby country nothing more, and It has been like this since 1-2 generation ago. (This is China town we talking about). Even in my dad's generation they always say they're Thai not Chinese.
